BUMP! Updated!
I am thinking-when someone wants to update their losses, give me the week and the total. I can post either a total or both. I think the total would be better.

Re: **Official PP Weight Loss/Support Thread**
Hope everyone had a good week and stays on track this weekend! Before we know it, Thanksgiving will be here!
AFM-I went to the doctor about my exhaustion and I am waiting to see if my thyroid meds need to be adjusted. My weight loss should be faster too so I am I am going to see the doctor next week about my back problems and some ideas for working out. I am walking every day which I think helps and I am cutting out the junk.

Re: **Official PP Weight Loss/Support Thread**
for those who just posted their losses!
I am going to update tonight-I have to weigh myself tomorrow morning.
I am proud to say that I started really amping up my working out!
I am doing the treadmill when I watch TV either at night or during DD's mid-afternoon nap.
I did 3/4 of a mile Monday and another 1/4 mile walk outside with DD in the stroller. Monday, I added some running which was surprisingly easier on the treadmill (I have a bad back and horrible knees). Today, I did 35 minutes-mixed up some running with some fast walking and inclines on the treadmill-I definitely pushed myself every time I wanted to stop and I definitely felt it! I think I did about 1 1/4-1/2 miles on the treadmill (the stupid cord fell out midway and I lost track of what I did)
I am definitely working on the eating-making smarter choices. I love that I am accountable here. For example, I love breakfast meat. I was with my mom in the supermarket pondering what sausage to get-I am limited due to the soy allergy. I love regular maple sausage, but it was about 300 calories! I chose the turkey for 90 and it was just as good!
I am also scheduling lumbar epidurals to deal with the back pain so that should help the workouts!
How is everyone else doing? Any revelations this week?

Question for the c/s mommies-
Anyone else feel any sort of weakness/discomfort in the lower abdomen?
I know that I have to work on toning and strengthening those abdominal muscles especially post c/s
Any tips from those who know?

I'm 3 months PP and my lower abs still feel very weak. Pilates helps alot. My friend is a trainer and she told me to try planks and the exercise ball for lower ab work. HTH

If anyone is looking for a quick workout, I did the 30 Day Shred DVD for the first time today. Only 20 minutes, and a pretty decent workout for 20 minutes!

Re: **Official PP Weight Loss/Support Thread**
I don't have any progress to report yet weight-wise though I haven't gained so I guess that's good. I actually have been very wishy-washy about this whole thing - work's been killing me and that's my excuse but I realize that's what it is. This weekend, I decided to re-commit and try really hard to do 3 things for the next 2 weeks (starting midday yesterday): 1) no diet soda during the week, 2) swimming daily, and 3) eat healthy breakfasts and dinners (lunch can be hard because I often have meetings and don't have many good options or control over what they are).
Anyway, 1.5 days in and I'm proud to report that I had no soda today and only 1 glass yesterday (I was weak, I know). I also have been swimming at the Y 2 days in a row (even though it was cold today and it's hard to get in the pool on a cold day). I managed to get my out of shape arse to do 1000 yards each day (about 45 minutes of swimming for me). The pool at the Y near me is open until 11 at night so my plan is to go before bedtime basically - too hard to go in the morning, but open late enough at night so that I can actually go. And, last but not least - dinner and breakfast today were both healthy.
Wish me luck on the rest of my first two weeks! I know once I get into a groove and see some results, it'll be easier to keep going, but for now, it's just 2 weeks! Hope everyone's doing well!

Re: **Official PP Weight Loss/Support Thread**
great job everyone! I went back to work so its harder to find the time to workout, but I am still running 3 days a week and am adding a 4th day of HIIT on the treadmill. I have not lost any more weight... I was trying to avoid dieting but it looks like exercise alone is not going to work.
