The BEST thing you can do is to turn off the news, not "what if" yourself into a frenzy and just go live your life. You'll be so much less stressed and happier if you walk away from the constant news and speculation of people who don't even have a clue anyway. I don't even pay attention anymore when it comes to COVID. Things will be what they will be and I continue to do what I can to stay healthy. Nothing else you can do.

I just move on and forward and wonder what's for dinner.
Exactly. I just can't worry about the state of everything in the world anymore. I need to focus on myself, my family and the things that bring me happiness. The stressful stuff that I have ZERO control over gets kicked to the curb.
I was told on this very board that I was uneducated and in the dark because I don’t watch the news for this very reason by the same person who screams this is media scaring the public and a conspiracy.

Someone who has had COVID and/or has been fully vaccinated will never be like "any other unvaccinated person" because our bodies have mounted an immune response to COVID that yours has not. Even if the vaccine efficacy wanes over time your immune system has "memory" so to speak and should be able to mount a better defense against the virus if one becomes sick.

DH and I are fully vaccinated as well, we are both getting our booster shot this Saturday which is 6 months to the day of our 2nd shot. Everyone who was vaccinated in my family has also either received or scheduled their booster shots.

I get tested weekly so I KNOW if I am sick. Vaccinated people who never test have no clue. You could spread it while being vaccinated.
I know people who got extremely ill (to the point of not even being able to work anymore but is making the best of this and trying to live her life as fully as she can) and ones who have died. I know people who were asymptomatic and ones who were ill but have been able to go back to normal or almost fully normal.

As per a quote from Fauci recently people may need the booster to be “fully vaccinated” soon. But who knows wtf is going on tbh
I haven’t booked my booster yet because my antibodies are still very high.

Not concerned at all. I do however wonder how no one can see that wearing masks seemed to be way more effective than the vaccine. I don't know anyone that caught covid when while wearing a mask every time they were around people outside of their home but I know a ton of people that were infected while vaccinated and forgoing the mask.

And by the way the first case in the US is in a FULLY VACCInATED person. But let’s keep mandating the vaccine and blaming the unvaccinated for the fact that the pandemic is raging worse a year later WITH the mandated vaccine than before there was one. Great job Biden and Hochul!
Who is actually vaccinated at this point who was vaccinated when it first came out? No one will answer that so people who claim they are vaccinated might likely not be.
I am. My DH is. My mother in law is and my 14 yo DS is. Fully vaccinated. With boosters. There I answered that question for you. Now you can stop repeating that nobody will answer that question for you.
DH and I are fully vaccinated as well, we are both getting our booster shot this Saturday which is 6 months to the day of our 2nd shot. Everyone who was vaccinated in my family has also either received or scheduled their booster shots.
How long do they say the booster lasts? Will you have to keep getting shots every 6 months?

I get tested weekly so I KNOW if I am sick. Vaccinated people who never test have no clue. You could spread it while being vaccinated.
I know people who got extremely ill (to the point of not even being able to work anymore but is making the best of this and trying to live her life as fully as she can) and ones who have died. I know people who were asymptomatic and ones who were ill but have been able to go back to normal or almost fully normal.
Yeah. I find some of that hard to believe.
If you knew folks who for really sick or died you would certainly stop comparing this to an every day flu or virus.
But anyway. How about for once you answer a question without diverting. Why do you care if I or anyone continue to get vaccinated? Because we should listen to folks like windy vs the CDC and medical professionals? Why does it bother you so much? Because you like to poke the bear and incite arguments?
Yes I am the only one who has never known anyone who got Covid, had it very bad and still have issues or who died from it. Do you know how ridiculous that sounds?
I care because all the people going around calling unvaccinated people selfish will be just as selfish when they are no longer vaccinated. It makes no sense as no one will be vaccinated anymore if they don’t continue getting shots.

All have boosters? Anything from 2-6 months are said not to be vaccinated as that is how long they last.
I know the stats windy. All except my DS who is fully vaccinated since September. So as I said we are all fully vaccinated. Why so hard to believe?
Not hard to believe. Didn’t know the booster was available for everyone yet. But then I am not fully listening anymore honestly to the rules of who can get it at this time.
People who have 2 vaccinations are considered fully vaccinated though but again who knows if that is true even though they have a card to say they are.

No, I said no one ever answers how long the vaccinated will truly be vaccinated. People with 2 shots are now considered to be fully vaccinated. When will they be considered not vaccinated and be back to square one like any other unvaccinated person?
Someone who has had COVID and/or has been fully vaccinated will never be like "any other unvaccinated person" because our bodies have mounted an immune response to COVID that yours has not. Even if the vaccine efficacy wanes over time your immune system has "memory" so to speak and should be able to mount a better defense against the virus if one becomes sick.
There is no real proof of that. No one knows how their body will respond to any illness and to Covid vaccinated or not.
That's where you're wrong. There have been many articles regarding studies on hybrid immunity, immune response post COVID, etc if you wish to educate yourself. You might also want to read up on how immune systems work, how the vaccine works, and how being vaccinated or sick changes how your body responds to future infections.

You can believe what you want but at this point they need to do more research into these vaccines. Other countries have come out saying this or that works but we just keep shoving vaccines down the American public that are not fully working as the sold them to be.
They don’t want to cure this virus as so many will lose money.
