Not concerned at all. I do however wonder how no one can see that wearing masks seemed to be way more effective than the vaccine. I don't know anyone that caught covid when while wearing a mask every time they were around people outside of their home but I know a ton of people that were infected while vaccinated and forgoing the mask.
This is one hundred percent spot on.
And by the way the first case in the US is in a FULLY VACCInATED person. But let’s keep mandating the vaccine and blaming the unvaccinated for the fact that the pandemic is raging worse a year later WITH the mandated vaccine than before there was one. Great job Biden and Hochul!
Who is actually vaccinated at this point who was vaccinated when it first came out? No one will answer that so people who claim they are vaccinated might likely not be.
I am. My DH is. My mother in law is and my 14 yo DS is. Fully vaccinated. With boosters. There I answered that question for you. Now you can stop repeating that nobody will answer that question for you.
All have boosters? Anything from 2-6 months are said not to be vaccinated as that is how long they last.
I know the stats windy. All except my DS who is fully vaccinated since September. So as I said we are all fully vaccinated. Why so hard to believe?
Not hard to believe. Didn’t know the booster was available for everyone yet. But then I am not fully listening anymore honestly to the rules of who can get it at this time. People who have 2 vaccinations are considered fully vaccinated though but again who knows if that is true even though they have a card to say they are.
Boosters are available to everyone. You said nobody would ever answer. Two of us now have. Fully vaccinated means received the vaccination dosage recommended. We have. The end.
No, I said no one ever answers how long the vaccinated will truly be vaccinated. People with 2 shots are now considered to be fully vaccinated. When will they be considered not vaccinated and be back to square one like any other unvaccinated person?
As per a quote from Fauci recently people may need the booster to be “fully vaccinated” soon. But who knows wtf is going on tbh
I haven’t booked my booster yet because my antibodies are still very high.
It is all ridiculous and people are crazy to keep listening to him. He is making himself and all these pharmaceutical companies a ton of money. They don’t want this to end.

Someone who has had COVID and/or has been fully vaccinated will never be like "any other unvaccinated person" because our bodies have mounted an immune response to COVID that yours has not. Even if the vaccine efficacy wanes over time your immune system has "memory" so to speak and should be able to mount a better defense against the virus if one becomes sick.
There is no real proof of that. No one knows how their body will respond to any illness and to Covid vaccinated or not.
That's where you're wrong. There have been many articles regarding studies on hybrid immunity, immune response post COVID, etc if you wish to educate yourself. You might also want to read up on how immune systems work, how the vaccine works, and how being vaccinated or sick changes how your body responds to future infections.
As usual, you talk and talk and talk but with no real knowledge to back up anything you say.
Educate me oh wise one
Never mind. You aren’t worth it.
That wasn’t even to you

Why roll your eyes when someone does something that YOU don’t understand? Maybe I will, if that’s what I feel is best for ME and MY family. It doesn’t concern you. It’s like me saying “so you will continue to do nothing to stop this madness until someone close to you gets extremely ill or dies from this virus you folks call the flu?”Maybe I’ll place an after my nasty insinuation as you like to do. Maybe I will continue to get the shot or continue to vaccinate BOTH my kids. Why do you care? You’re going to go on about your life selfishly doing nothing, right?
This is just to address your flu comment. Why are people always up in arms when people make comparisons between COVID and the flu? Are none of you aware that the flu kills over 200,000 people most years? Perhaps you have never known someone to get seriously ill or die from the flu. I have.

It's because that's the buzz phrase. "This is NOT the flu!" You need to get it tattooed on your arm.
Flu is actually more deadly in children if you look at the numbers. Hence why my daughter has gotten a flu shot since she was able to at 6 months old.
But that doesn't fit the narrative.

I know I'm not the one addressed, but I don't like the flu comparison. Yes, I am aware on it's very worst years the flu has killed 200,000 people. We are at over 700,000 + with Covid - huge difference. And while I have no doubt in my mind people die of the flu, and that it is extremely serious, the only person in I personally know is my great-great aunt who died in the 1918 pandemic. But I do have three close relatives that died of Covid. But that is my personal experience, and why *I* feel the way I do.
Edited to say - I don't like it but don't really "get up in arms " about it.

The Spanish Flu killed millions when it first started. The Spanish Flu still exists, it has just weakened over time to the point that it's not a huge threat any more. The same thing will likely happen with COVID. Like it or not, they ARE very similar viruses.

I have.
Yep. I can imagine back in 1918 people saying - this is NOT the black plague. Stop comparing it to the Black Plague! It's totally not the same thing!

Someone who has had COVID and/or has been fully vaccinated will never be like "any other unvaccinated person" because our bodies have mounted an immune response to COVID that yours has not. It's not worth it. She has an Admin assist CERTIFICATE from Suffolk Community College. That means she is medical doctor, specializing in infectious diseases AND a research scientist all rolled into one. We should all be taking GC's advice about how to eradicate and/or live during a pandemic which NONE of us, unless you are over 100 years old, has been through before. I mean really, why don't you understand that mommytodevin????
Wow, I didn't know you, or Hofstra or Mommy had medical degrees either.
I don't, but I don't proclaim too. You absolutely do. I have no idea about the other posters.
I know you all will think this is biased because you think WW and I are having some sort of love fest but WW is constantly asking questions, asking for explanations. She very rarely offers her own explanations. Yes, a lot of her questions are simply to point out hypocrisy but I have never seen her go on a rant proclaiming to know everything. But I have seen hofstra do it. Belittling WW for asking about a third shot claiming OVER AND OVER AND OVER that it's a TWO SHOT vaccine. Well, here we are... on the THIRD SHOT. And has she ever admitted she was wrong? Never. All she had to respond to WW was "No they did not tell us if and when we will need a third shot because they aren't sure if and when we will need one." You all act like you are so innocent in this when you push and push and push and no one will just let it go.

This has me dead, I needed this
I really think people and our stupid government don't want to face the fact that Covid isn't like Polio and it is not going away. We are not going to eradicate the virus and any hope of this actually being true went out the window with this vaccine. And I am solely speaking of the thought process that we could end this virus and kill it on a global scale. There is no way that is going to happen. As soon as that narrative changes and we start working towards living with this virus, things will be alot better.

But then they wouldn't be making the money they are with all the vaccines and tests. They know people will just keep coming back for these vaccines. Look at how they are up to #3 and people here are running for it, even though this has all been proven not to work as they anticipated.

It's not worth the argument with her. You can't fix stupid and arguing with it will only make you crazy.
Once again, can't have a mature conversation with you as you are back to calling people names.
Do YOU have a medical degree? What have you even done with your degree in the last 13 + years? A degree does NOT equal common sense and at this point you are not using either of these.
Let me know when you have an answer about the people who have had covid and/or vaccinated and have gotten covid multiple times how that is working out with your explanation why YOU are so much better than myself because you had covid (or think you did as you never even got tested), 2 vaccines and running for a 3rd. I get tested weekly. You have never had one to see if you are sick and can spread it.

No, I said no one ever answers how long the vaccinated will truly be vaccinated. People with 2 shots are now considered to be fully vaccinated. When will they be considered not vaccinated and be back to square one like any other unvaccinated person?
Why don't you take your little certificate from Suffolk and go do your job instead of spending 18 hours a day on LIF. If your employer knew how much time you spent on this BS forum instead of working no doubt he'd fire your a$$.
As for the rest of your nonsense, there is no sense in arguing with a lunatic know-it-all who harps on the same cr@p day in and day out and who is very obviously CONSUMED by COVID and vaccines yet claims to "not stress or care about it at all".
Off to enjoy the day. Have fun with your incessant posting and arguing.

Didn't think you would answer. A girl can hope though
