Not concerned at all. I do however wonder how no one can see that wearing masks seemed to be way more effective than the vaccine. I don't know anyone that caught covid when while wearing a mask every time they were around people outside of their home but I know a ton of people that were infected while vaccinated and forgoing the mask.
This is one hundred percent spot on.
And by the way the first case in the US is in a FULLY VACCInATED person. But let’s keep mandating the vaccine and blaming the unvaccinated for the fact that the pandemic is raging worse a year later WITH the mandated vaccine than before there was one. Great job Biden and Hochul!
Who is actually vaccinated at this point who was vaccinated when it first came out? No one will answer that so people who claim they are vaccinated might likely not be.
I am. My DH is. My mother in law is and my 14 yo DS is. Fully vaccinated. With boosters. There I answered that question for you. Now you can stop repeating that nobody will answer that question for you.
All have boosters? Anything from 2-6 months are said not to be vaccinated as that is how long they last.
I know the stats windy. All except my DS who is fully vaccinated since September. So as I said we are all fully vaccinated. Why so hard to believe?
Not hard to believe. Didn’t know the booster was available for everyone yet. But then I am not fully listening anymore honestly to the rules of who can get it at this time. People who have 2 vaccinations are considered fully vaccinated though but again who knows if that is true even though they have a card to say they are.
Boosters are available to everyone. You said nobody would ever answer. Two of us now have. Fully vaccinated means received the vaccination dosage recommended. We have. The end.
No, I said no one ever answers how long the vaccinated will truly be vaccinated. People with 2 shots are now considered to be fully vaccinated. When will they be considered not vaccinated and be back to square one like any other unvaccinated person?
Someone who has had COVID and/or has been fully vaccinated will never be like "any other unvaccinated person" because our bodies have mounted an immune response to COVID that yours has not. Even if the vaccine efficacy wanes over time your immune system has "memory" so to speak and should be able to mount a better defense against the virus if one becomes sick.
There is no real proof of that. No one knows how their body will respond to any illness and to Covid vaccinated or not.
That's where you're wrong. There have been many articles regarding studies on hybrid immunity, immune response post COVID, etc if you wish to educate yourself. You might also want to read up on how immune systems work, how the vaccine works, and how being vaccinated or sick changes how your body responds to future infections.
As usual, you talk and talk and talk but with no real knowledge to back up anything you say.
Educate me oh wise one
Never mind. You aren’t worth it.
It's not worth it. She has an Admin assist CERTIFICATE from Suffolk Community College. That means she is medical doctor, specializing in infectious diseases AND a research scientist all rolled into one. We should all be taking GC's advice about how to eradicate and/or live during a pandemic which NONE of us, unless you are over 100 years old, has been through before. I mean really, why don't you understand that mommytodevin????
Wow, I didn't know you, or Hofstra or Mommy had medical degrees either.
I don't, but I don't proclaim too. You absolutely do. I have no idea about the other posters.
I know you all will think this is biased because you think WW and I are having some sort of love fest but WW is constantly asking questions, asking for explanations. She very rarely offers her own explanations. Yes, a lot of her questions are simply to point out hypocrisy but I have never seen her go on a rant proclaiming to know everything. But I have seen hofstra do it. Belittling WW for asking about a third shot claiming OVER AND OVER AND OVER that it's a TWO SHOT vaccine. Well, here we are... on the THIRD SHOT. And has she ever admitted she was wrong? Never. All she had to respond to WW was "No they did not tell us if and when we will need a third shot because they aren't sure if and when we will need one." You all act like you are so innocent in this when you push and push and push and no one will just let it go.
Was just about to say the same. Same usual girl gang suspects.
Yep, I haven't posted since September, but that's me, usual suspects. We can't all be like you who threatens posters that she knows all of their personal info because she works for LIF. If you do work for LIF, why don't you get them to update this site!!!
That's because you were pounding the pavement looking for a job since you got fired for being a tattle tale. Shrug.
I reported a company under OSHA's whistleblowers laws. They, like you, did not believe in Covid, and they paid for that. I never had to pound the pavement luckily. I am very blessed and I recognize how blessed and fortunate I am.
Once again, I believe in covid so nice try, trying to put words in my mouth
THEY paid for it? How so?
Nah, you lived off of unemployment so you got a good deal as you didn't have to go out in the work place when you were afraid of covid and still got paid.
You know nothing VB about what I did or didn't do. And for as to how they paid, well it's none of your business and I don't owe you an explanation, and I won't give you one except to say that sometimes the US Justice system works :)

Bringing up something that someone posted on a public chat board years ago is hardly THREATENING someone. I swear some of you have such limited vocabulary skills.
This was directed to Mrs. Woods. I guess you have limited reading skills. Mrs. Woods has called people out by their towns publicly, and on more than one occasion has said that she knows all of our names , email addresses, home addresses etc...
But names, initials, schools, etc are ok? Don't you see how hypocritical that is?
Yes, I do see exactly how hypocritical it is. But YOU actually started all of the calling out of personal information or sensitive information that posters posted about a decade ago. . So you reap what you sow.
None of the info I have posted were OFF this site.

Aint nothing wrong with unemployment.. I took a year off and it was the best thing for my mental health, during the pandemic.
Don't be hating now..
Not hating about unemployment but it must have been nice for people to get that extra money and not have to go out and work.
It was f#cking awesome!! But my son was also home remote acting like a jerk, so he kinda killed the vibe a little.
Ugghh so sorry

Bringing up something that someone posted on a public chat board years ago is hardly THREATENING someone. I swear some of you have such limited vocabulary skills.
This was directed to Mrs. Woods. I guess you have limited reading skills. Mrs. Woods has called people out by their towns publicly, and on more than one occasion has said that she knows all of our names , email addresses, home addresses etc...
Hunny I was agreeing with you but I guess you can’t read.
And yes I know a lot a lot and what?! Have a problem with that?

Some have issues with people who know a lot of things and do good research. Many make a TON of money doing research for a living.

It's not worth the argument with her. You can't fix stupid and arguing with it will only make you crazy.
Once again, can't have a mature conversation with you as you are back to calling people names.
Do YOU have a medical degree? What have you even done with your degree in the last 13 + years? A degree does NOT equal common sense and at this point you are not using either of these.
Let me know when you have an answer about the people who have had covid and/or vaccinated and have gotten covid multiple times how that is working out with your explanation why YOU are so much better than myself because you had covid (or think you did as you never even got tested), 2 vaccines and running for a 3rd. I get tested weekly. You have never had one to see if you are sick and can spread it.
Why don't you take your little certificate from Suffolk and go do your job instead of spending 18 hours a day on LIF. If your employer knew how much time you spent on this BS forum instead of working no doubt he'd fire your a$$.
As for the rest of your nonsense, there is no sense in arguing with a lunatic know-it-all who harps on the same cr@p day in and day out and who is very obviously CONSUMED by COVID and vaccines yet claims to "not stress or care about it at all".
Off to enjoy the day. Have fun with your incessant posting and arguing.
So funny how others view people's jobs when they have absolutely no clue. Pretty sure my job is pleased with me. Actually, I know they are. I have great bosses who don't micromanage and don't ever need to. We all do what we are required to do and beyond. But then when people haven't worked in years and don't have extensive years of working, especially in office settings and working from home, have no clue and just assume and attack.

Do you realize how insecure and dumb you sound every time you bring up the fact that I don't work? It's literally the most idiotic diatribe you have. If I wanted to work (or NEEDED to) I could get a teaching job tomorrow and make $80K+/yr. But since my DH and I decided TOGETHER that being home with our children is more important and since we're very financially secure I don't have to go to work and kill myself which is GREAT and I'm endlessly thankful for that!! I understand how fortunate I am to even be in this position.
Furthermore, my being home allows my DH to focus on his career without ever needing to worry about sick kids, snow days, school closings or summer vacations. Or bills, laundry, errands and the other five mile list of things I do every day to keep our life running and so he can just relax after working hard every day. He'll be the first one to tell you that he wouldn't be where he is in his career without my support and my being home.
Also, being home allows me to ALWAYS be there for my children whether it be a conference at school, a school play, or a chaperone on a trip. And the best part? I got to stop spending 4+hrs/day on the road every day commuting to Flushing. Instead, I was home with my babies instead of leaving them 14 hrs a day in daycare. I CHOSE my children over my career and while that's not for everyone that's what was best for MY family. WE made the necessary sacrafices early on so I could stay home and I've never regretted that choice.
But if you still feel the need to bring up my being a SAHM in a financially secure situation thanks to the hard work of my amazing DH then more power to you. But know that you sound petty and insecure and criticizing ANY SAHM (or working mom for that matter) couldn't be more pathetic.
Let it go already. You just make yourself look so envious every time you mention me, my house, my money, my DH, my career, my college degree, etc. So sorry my life makes you feel SO insecure about yours. But that's YOUR issue, NOT mine.

ALWAYS comes down to this:
"You just make yourself look so envious every time you mention me, my house, my money, my DH, my career, my college degree, etc."
NO ONE is envious of you, sorry to burst your bubble.
Who paid for your student loans when you quit working? I am sure you still had them and I doubt you would be starting at $80K right now after taking so much time off and not having tenure, if I am not mistaken. Weren't you making a LOT less than that?
I worked when I had kids and never had them in daycare for 14 hours and I worked down the road from them and home. I didn't miss much of what they did as I stayed at my job long enough to get time and seniority to have many days off.
You have NO clue about my work life and why I can post when I post. When is the last time you had an office job? Didn't you mention retail jobs than daycare, then teaching then babysitting? I am sure you don't know 100% what your husband does too. How many breaks he takes, how much his work load is on a minute to minute basis. Just like you don't know mine or anyone else on this board.
I appreciate ALL moms for what they do. I just don't envy any of them as I have been home for maternity leaves, worked from home, worked out of the home and have seen what it all entails. I have had kids in daycare, elementary, middle, high school and college. There are good and bad things for all ages no matter if you work or not.
What else do you do besides taking care of your kids who are old enough to take care of themselves? I haven't heard about anything else but cooking and reading. I know people who are 30 years older that are so much more active and social. I don't envy anyone who just sits around waiting for the time to pass by for my family to come home. I would rather have a job and contribute something.

You're such a sad, clueless, ignorant dimwit.
I won't waste time responding to the endless load of cr@p and nonsense you just posted, it's all hysterically inaccurate and idiotic. Aren't you embarrassed on this forum? No wonder 98% of the people left on here can't stand you, it's like dealing with someone stunted at age 14.
ETA - ANYONE who consumes themselves with other people and what they do or have does so for one reason, insecurity and envy. That's basic human psychology and since you're utterly OBSESSED with many posters on here one can only assume you have much lacking in your own life.

Sounds like you are really NOT that happy with your life that you have to constantly attack and call people names. Why would anyone be jealous of you then?
Most of us have learned how to balance our lives so we are fulfilled. I am sure it is harder to do at home as you can get into a rut much easier. I would suggest something on the outside, even if you don't get paid to make your life more complete. Maybe meet some people so you can have a social life as that helps a lot too to interact with others on a regular basis. Heck, if you are in the area, hit me up and I can show you how us poor, working schleps have fun.

I wonder if your DH would like to see what you do with your time on here. Maybe all this should be sent over to him.
Ha
At least my boss can see that I am working my butt off and making them a ton of money.

Ugh. A new variant that is vaccine resistant. Hoping it isn’t as bad as they are preparing for (but don’t worry - in 100 days they will have the vaccine adjusted for it).
I’m not surprised. It has happened with other microorganisms like bacteria.

It's not worth the argument with her. You can't fix stupid and arguing with it will only make you crazy.
