It really chaps my asss when it's been 3 min and I hit refresh and there still hasn't heen a reply posted to the last cheap shot. Why are we still only on page 8 of this cringefest?? Keep it going ladies. The mud doesn't sling itself.

Not concerned at all. I do however wonder how no one can see that wearing masks seemed to be way more effective than the vaccine. I don't know anyone that caught covid when while wearing a mask every time they were around people outside of their home but I know a ton of people that were infected while vaccinated and forgoing the mask.
This is one hundred percent spot on.
And by the way the first case in the US is in a FULLY VACCInATED person. But let’s keep mandating the vaccine and blaming the unvaccinated for the fact that the pandemic is raging worse a year later WITH the mandated vaccine than before there was one. Great job Biden and Hochul!
Who is actually vaccinated at this point who was vaccinated when it first came out? No one will answer that so people who claim they are vaccinated might likely not be.
I am. My DH is. My mother in law is and my 14 yo DS is. Fully vaccinated. With boosters. There I answered that question for you. Now you can stop repeating that nobody will answer that question for you.
All have boosters? Anything from 2-6 months are said not to be vaccinated as that is how long they last.
I know the stats windy. All except my DS who is fully vaccinated since September. So as I said we are all fully vaccinated. Why so hard to believe?
Not hard to believe. Didn’t know the booster was available for everyone yet. But then I am not fully listening anymore honestly to the rules of who can get it at this time. People who have 2 vaccinations are considered fully vaccinated though but again who knows if that is true even though they have a card to say they are.
Boosters are available to everyone. You said nobody would ever answer. Two of us now have. Fully vaccinated means received the vaccination dosage recommended. We have. The end.
No, I said no one ever answers how long the vaccinated will truly be vaccinated. People with 2 shots are now considered to be fully vaccinated. When will they be considered not vaccinated and be back to square one like any other unvaccinated person?
Someone who has had COVID and/or has been fully vaccinated will never be like "any other unvaccinated person" because our bodies have mounted an immune response to COVID that yours has not. Even if the vaccine efficacy wanes over time your immune system has "memory" so to speak and should be able to mount a better defense against the virus if one becomes sick.
There is no real proof of that. No one knows how their body will respond to any illness and to Covid vaccinated or not.
That's where you're wrong. There have been many articles regarding studies on hybrid immunity, immune response post COVID, etc if you wish to educate yourself. You might also want to read up on how immune systems work, how the vaccine works, and how being vaccinated or sick changes how your body responds to future infections.
As usual, you talk and talk and talk but with no real knowledge to back up anything you say.
Educate me oh wise one
Never mind. You aren’t worth it.
It's not worth it. She has an Admin assist CERTIFICATE from Suffolk Community College. That means she is medical doctor, specializing in infectious diseases AND a research scientist all rolled into one. We should all be taking GC's advice about how to eradicate and/or live during a pandemic which NONE of us, unless you are over 100 years old, has been through before. I mean really, why don't you understand that mommytodevin????
Wow, I didn't know you, or Hofstra or Mommy had medical degrees either.
I don't, but I don't proclaim too. You absolutely do. I have no idea about the other posters.
Ummm..I never proclaimed TO have one either. Aren't you in Administration and a coordinator?
I know what the other 2 do. One hasn't used their degree for 13 + year and it ain't in the medical field.
The fact that you keep bringing up that one of us hasn't had to work in 13 years just SCREAMS jealousy. NOt sure why your crew can't see that. You mean to tell me that if your husband could work and make enough money so that you didn't have to work and you could stay home and parent your kids that you wouldn't have done that too? Do you think that it's a dig to say she is able to stay home and parent vs. go to work?
Ya, ok, skippy.

Why don't you take your little certificate from Suffolk and go do your job instead of spending 18 hours a day on LIF. If your employer knew how much time you spent on this BS forum instead of working no doubt he'd fire your a$$.
As for the rest of your nonsense, there is no sense in arguing with a lunatic know-it-all who harps on the same cr@p day in and day out and who is very obviously CONSUMED by COVID and vaccines yet claims to "not stress or care about it at all".
Off to enjoy the day. Have fun with your incessant posting and arguing.
Honestly you are so immature. What is wrong with getting an Admin Assistant degree? Plenty of people in my family are/were admin assistants including my mother. And not to mention a close family member is making 6 figures in her "little admin assistant" job. Why would you disrespect someone's profession ever? ESPECIALLY when you don't even have one. GROW UP.
UMMM, raising kids isn't a profession? I would beg to differ on that.

I know you all will think this is biased because you think WW and I are having some sort of love fest but WW is constantly asking questions, asking for explanations. She very rarely offers her own explanations. Yes, a lot of her questions are simply to point out hypocrisy but I have never seen her go on a rant proclaiming to know everything. But I have seen hofstra do it. Belittling WW for asking about a third shot claiming OVER AND OVER AND OVER that it's a TWO SHOT vaccine. Well, here we are... on the THIRD SHOT. And has she ever admitted she was wrong? Never. All she had to respond to WW was "No they did not tell us if and when we will need a third shot because they aren't sure if and when we will need one." You all act like you are so innocent in this when you push and push and push and no one will just let it go.
Was just about to say the same. Same usual girl gang suspects.
Yep, I haven't posted since September, but that's me, usual suspects. We can't all be like you who threatens posters that she knows all of their personal info because she works for LIF. If you do work for LIF, why don't you get them to update this site!!!
That's because you were pounding the pavement looking for a job since you got fired for being a tattle tale. Shrug.
I reported a company under OSHA's whistleblowers laws. They, like you, did not believe in Covid, and they paid for that. I never had to pound the pavement luckily. I am very blessed and I recognize how blessed and fortunate I am.
Once again, I believe in covid so nice try, trying to put words in my mouth
THEY paid for it? How so?
Nah, you lived off of unemployment so you got a good deal as you didn't have to go out in the work place when you were afraid of covid and still got paid.
As did your son b/c he didn't want to work.

Umm I did parent my children and still do while working full time so not sure why that is even a question.
Not everyone just wants to sit at home and not contribute to doing anything in life. I probably would have volunteered or has some hobbies out of the house or been a lady who lunches as that sounds like a nice gig.

Ugh. A new variant that is vaccine resistant. Hoping it isn’t as bad as they are preparing for (but don’t worry - in 100 days they will have the vaccine adjusted for it).
I would like to give a special shot out and THANK YOU to 'Ali120206' for starting this post. You resurrected the best of the best. It has kept me highly entertained!
YOU'RE THE REAL MVP!!

I'm going to be 100% honest here and I know this is not the topic- but then again- what IS the topic anymore anyway I would not want to stay home at all. I could have. I still can. No way in fuking hell. I love my career. I am not cut out to stay home even a little. Even on bad days. I wanted to go back to work the week after DD was born. I was hysterical crying daily that I couldn't do this whole stay home with a baby thing. Going back to work at 8 weeks was the best thing for my mental health. So while I don't begrudge anyone who does it- it is 100% not for me. And I say that with no jealousy or sour grapes. It's the honest to God truth

Umm I did parent my children and still do while working full time so not sure why that is even a question.
Not everyone just wants to sit at home and not contribute to doing anything in life. I probably would have volunteered or has some hobbies out of the house or been a lady who lunches as that sounds like a nice gig.
You're completely wacked. Pretty sure she speaks quite a bit about having hobbies. And nice generalization of SAHMs. Though from your past posts, that isn't anything new on how you feel about that profession.

But you don't dig at those who do with incessant degrading comments and passive aggressive digs. There's the difference between what you just stated as your personal opinion and WW's constant attacks and derogatory comments about SAHMs.
I think Nell's response was related to Hofstra's post. Her post came off as why would anyone want to work when they can have the opportunity to stay home, to be with their child. And that is not the case for all parents.
However, if you read Hofstra's post alone, it sounds like a dig on working moms. I don't think it was meant that way because it just seems like a mudslinging fest. I think Nell was just weighing in on the topic.
I was going to post something similar but decided to refrain.

I'm going to be 100% honest here and I know this is not the topic- but then again- what IS the topic anymore anyway I would not want to stay home at all. I could have. I still can. No dig on working moms AT ALL. I specifically stated everyone needs to do what's best for them and their family. In my case, being a SAHM was what was best but I understand that is a situation that not everyone would want.
Let's not start a working mom vs SAHM debate as it's unnecessary. I think everyone does the best they can for themselves and their kids. No question. That being said, WW constant digs at being a SAHM are just obnoxious. Don't assume because someone chose to leave their career means they sit home and do nothing, that's just ignorant.

I was actually replying to the post saying to Windy- come on if your husband could afford to have you stay home wouldn't you? Of course you would! And in my case, the answer would still be no. But no shade to anyone who does want that. Different strokes/different folks!

I did not generalize SAHM’s as I had one and know many. I was speaking only of her. You seem to be BFF’s with her with all your defending of her even when you know nothing about her IRL.

Because she assumed that all working moms are only working for the money as at her first opportunity she jumped at never working again.

I didn't think you were replying to me, I just didn't want anyone to misconstrue my post and think I was taking any kind of dig at working moms. We both have it hard, parenting isn't easy whether you go to work or stay home with kids in your face all day.
I think we're all exhausted!!

Well then you should look up the definition of PROFESSION which is: a paid occupation, especially one that involves prolonged training and a formal qualification.
