Parents that are potty training
We have begun the process but not sure if I am confusing her with the pull ups because they are so much like diapers. Should I just bite the bullet say screw the pullups and put her in underwear

Re: Moms that are potty training
We did the pull-ups with DS. He treated them like diapers.... didn't seem to help at all. It's possible that because he's a boy, he just didn't care.....
I don't think we're going to bother with them for DD when we start with her.

Re: Parents that are potty training
See that is my thinking, she is treating the pull ups like diapers, she is great at telling me she has to poop, but not great at indicating she has to pee

Re: Parents that are potty training
We had much more success with DS by putting him in real underpants, and using plastic underpants over that. He is very aware that he's wet, but the plastic pants keep the rugs dry.

Michelle - can you come and train my boys after you figure it all out?
I have heard go straight to underware or have her in no clothes in the house.

Re: Parents that are potty training
Pull ups never did anything for us - I just chose a week to stay home and started putting Emily in underwear. A few accidents later we were on our way

Bite the bullet. No pull-ups! Go right to underwear.

Re: Parents that are potty training
we still use diapers and have 3 wet a day morning nap and night. im afraid to use pull ups too. we still have time before baby #2 but olivia tells me when she has to go when she is awake and think i might not do pull ups and go straight to undies after christmas. i tried one pull up the other day because i got a sample in the mail but they are a pain to put on since you have to take off al lthe pants, shoes to get them on. i say bite the bullet and go right to undies. but make sure your home for a couple of days just incase of an accident. also herd they make feel and learn its a very thin pull up that looks like undies that might be a back up if the undies dont work. keep us posted how it works out for jenna.
