One reason I love my peds office is I wait maybe 10 min tops in waiting room and 10 in the exam room.

Yaker and Wren are great...I had an issue with Meckes, which I won't get into...but thankfully I trusted my mommy intuition and all worked out.

We usually dont wait at all, we have the same appt time every well visit, its never busy so we keep that appt on purpose. If we do wait its only 10 mins.

There's one I just absolutely won't see anymore, but aside from that I like the Drs there. Dr. Yaker is our favorite, too. With all of DS's issues and needs, they've really gone above & beyond for us (especially Dr Y & the office manager).
There was 1 time we actually had to wait 1.5 hours, but every other time has been 5-20 min.

The most I have ever waited at my Ped was 5 minutes. To wait 2 hours is nonsense. I would switch doctors.

I am new to seaford peds but I haven't had to wait more than 5 or 10 minutes...but i have 2 newborns and have not had to go for a sick visit

The longest was literally 5 minutes. We usually go right in.
Our last PED office we would wait 15-20 minutes in the waiting room and then another 30 minutes in the room.  Used it irk me soo much with a newborn

we use seaford peds too.
for well visits, i haven't had much of a wait ever. one time we waited about 20mins. usually we are there for about 30-45mins from appt time til we are back in the car (for my twins) but i don't work so my appt times are always during the day.
i had a sick appt at 4 last week and we waited about a half hour.

at Bellmore Merrick Peds I have never waited longer than 3-5 minutes for a well visit. I waited 10mins once when they squeezed me in for a sick visit. The nurse always gets in and talks to us and takes vitals and within 2mins MAX a doctor is in to see you.

I've only taken 1st thing in the morning appts so im not sure how it is later on in the day but the longest i waited was 10mins in waiting room then another time i waited maybe 15mins in the exam room.

i dont think ive ever waited more than 10 mins in the office but i always try to get an early appt
waiting for a call back or for them to answer the phones  thats another story

I read this on my phone and couldn't see who wrote it til I scrolled left but I didn't need to
I have never waited more than 2-3 min in waiting room and 5 in the room. They are genius schedulers or something because I'm never rushed out and everything is done by the Dr himself.
If I had to wait more than 30 min tops on a regular basis I think I'd find a new Dr. It must be very hard to keep your child waiting in a dr's office that long!

we wait maybe 5 mins in the waiting room then another 10-15 mins in the exam room. but i switched to this ped because my last ped was like yours. we once waited an hour and we were the only ones in the waiting room!

We also go to Seaford Pediatrics & I have had an instance where I waited about 30 minutes & it was for a well visit but I do know that things do come up & I try to grin & bear it. It is not fun when I am there with JJ & I have to entertain him. With that said, I am a SAHM, so I try to get all my appts in the AM so that they are not backed up. Tomorrow I have a 1:30 appt for Nicholas, so we shall see.

Maybe like 5-10 minutes TOPS in the waiting room, but sometimes like 15-20 in the room waiting for the Dr after the nurse does the weight, measurement, developmental questions, tempature, etc.

We are seaford peds patients too - I have waited a long time (about an hour)and yes, I was livid - DD was about 18 months and it's not like they have much there to entertain the kids! I basically started letting DD wander around on her own (even into the back office!) because I thought it was completely unfair for us to wait that long. There was one other time..but DD was still an infant so it didn't bother me as much.. but I am generally happy there and yes, Yaker is my fav!

I have never waited more than 5 minutes for our ped. I don't know what they're doing over there, but I think they should patent it and sell it to every other doctor I go to - it's amazing how on time they are!

We always get called within 15 minutes....
One had a obgyn with ridiculous wait times - the receptionist once said - make the appt for first in the morning - so all the people who show up late durring they day don't back you up......
another perk is that the room would be cleanest since your baby is the first one in it.
