YES! DD got the shot last year and got the flu, but a very mild case. Had she not had the shot, the doctor said that it could have been worse. I am not taking any chances.

Yes. Dd #1 is in school and was premature so she gets it ever year.
Dd #2 gets it as well.
Both dh and I get the shot.

My 3 yo son has RAD. The flu could be very dangerous for him. I will get the flu shot fo him and my seven month old.

Absolutely 100% we all will be getting it! There are a few reasons. I work in healthcare, so I'm exposed to a lot. Anything I can do to avoid bringing it home to my family, I will do. The baby can't be vaccinated, so my older ones will be to protect him because they are both in school. Also, DD#2 has RAD, so getting the flu could be dangerous for her. We are all vaccinated every year and have never gotten the flu or had a problem with the vaccine. There was 1 year I didn't get the shot and I was violently ill with the flu and I don't want to feel like that again if possible.

Yes, all three of my kids will definitely get some sort of flu vaccination this year (nasal mist for the older ones and shot for DD who is 2.5).
I will also be getting one for the first time, as last year my oldest son caught the flu because I hadn't gotten around to taking him for the vaccine (DS2 and DD were vaccinated though) and then I caught it from him. Having the flu is the most miserable experience which I have no desire to repeat! DS also missed over a week of school and I'd like to avoid that too.

I am torn. Last year, we ALL got a flu shot, and 2 of my 3 kids got the flu anyway and it was HORRIFIC for 2 weeks 
Have not made a decision yet

Since the flu is such a big killer of children, yes. I dont have kids, but if I did, the answer is yes. PLus all my neices and nephews get them as well.
Flu kills too many children. Just not worth the risk, IMHO.

Sash has gotten one every year (first winter was H1N1 scare)-- and will again this year. She is starting school and I am having another baby in the middle of winter-- so without question doing it.

No- because she doesn't go to daycare and is rarely around other children besides my nieces (who also do not go to daycare.)
I've never gotten the flu shot and won't this year.
I'm wondering if they'll make me get it after I have DD#2 in December..?

What's the youngest the flu shot can be administered? If my DD can, she absolutely will - she will be in daycare. DH and I will get it as well since we are both teachers...
