Terms of Endearment - Emma's Goodbye at hospital
("And stop trying to pretend that you hate me. I mean, it's silly...I know you like me. I know it. For the last year or two, you've been pretending like you hate me. I love you very much. I love you as much as I love anybody, as much as I love myself. And in a few years when I haven't been around to be on your tail about something or irritating you, you're gonna remember... that time that I bought you the baseball glove when you thought we were too broke. You know? Or when I read you those stories? Or when I let you goof off instead of mowing the lawn? Lots of things like that. And you're gonna realize that you love me. And maybe you're gonna feel badly, because you never told me. But don't - I know that you love me. So don't ever do that to yourself, all right?")
I forgot about this one. I don't think I have ever NOT cried watching that scene!

Re: Saddest Movie?
Beaches (every single time) Steel Magnolias (again, every single time) Up (cried, laughed, cried...vicious cycle) My Life (just sobbed) Life as a House Passion of the Christ (I was hysterical throughout the entire movie and have only watched it once) Schindler's List (the little girl with the pink flower ) Walk to Remember Stepmom Marley and Me (I balled when I read the book) My Sister's Keeper (The book is so much better than the movie) The Notebook E.T. What Dreams May Come The Lion King
I've never seen P.S. I Love You because at the time it was released (even on DVD) I had just lost my mom and could not have handled that movie.

My vote too...also in the same movie when her Mother demands the pain meds for her. She did such a great job

I just remembered - Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind makes me cry. HARD. Every single time. "Meet me in Montuak" - ugh I tear up thinking about that scene.

The only movie that I was ball it out hysterical where I couldnt even control myself was
Pay it Forward
I remember calling my mom after it happened and yelling at her for not warning me since she had seen it and knew I was watching it.

Not the best movie in the world, but the scene in Hope Floats where the dad is leaving and the little girl is screaming Why Don't You want me? kills me, absolutely kills me.
Me too! That little girl gets me every time - I'm tearing just thinking about her
Antwone Fisher - to the point where if DH is home and it's on TV he won't let me watch it b/c he knows the aftermath he'll have to deal with!
I also always cry at the end of Gladiator when he dies and sees his family again

In Armaggedon, when they come back after saving the world - the little boy goes running up to his father that he never knew - this is one of the few movie scenes that gets me every time - although it is not really sad.
Marley & Me - every time I cry.

BTW - I may have a stoone for a heart, because Titanic does nothing for me.
I saw Titanic in the theater with my friend and when I started laughing, she turned to me, tears streaming down her face, and said "You are heartless!!"
It was just too overly-dramatic for me! I didn't find it sad at all...and I cry about everything!
lol, me too!! I cry at absolutely everything, but laughed my way through Titanic. All of the movies listed above make me weep. I cried hysterically at the movies for A walk to remember - while Dh laughed.

Re: Saddest Movie?
Definetely What Dreams May Come...I do that hyperventilating cry
Forest Gump...especially when he asks Jenny if his son is like him.
This might be stupid to some and the whole movie isn't really sad at all but at the end of 500 days of summer when he's on the bench at Angela's plaza and summer comes by and explains to him how she met her husband and how she was never sure if she loved Tom. I cry because I know EXACTLY how he feels.
I'm so immune to The Notebook now I don't even cry anymore lol
P.s. I love you is another one that gets me too
