The Champ (yeah, you young 'uns missed out on this!)
It was the first movie that made me cry. I was 5. My parents divorced a year later and my exact words as I was crying were "This is sadder than The Champ"

Re: Saddest Movie?
Marley and Me - watched the full movie once and bawled like you would not believe. Now I only watch up to a certain part and then I turn it off.
My Sister's Keeper - the part where they take her to the beach and there's that song playing... 100x worse now that I have kids of my own!
Armegeddon- where Bruce Willis talks to Liv Tyler telling her "he's going to have to break that promise" and "I'll check in on ya from time to time". Teared up just typing that.

BTW - I may have a stoone for a heart, because Titanic does nothing for me.
I saw Titanic in the theater with my friend and when I started laughing, she turned to me, tears streaming down her face, and said "You are heartless!!"
It was just too overly-dramatic for me! I didn't find it sad at all...and I cry about everything!

I agree about it being overly dramatic. The only part that made me cry in Titanic was the scene when the mother is reading a bedtime story to her children laying in bed as the water rushed in. So sad

Schindler's List
The whole movie makes me weepy but the part at the end of the movie where all the family members of people he saved put a stone on his grave stone. That scene kills me.
Schindler's List for me as well, without a doubt. It's an amazing film and hits so close to home! I am NOT a cryer, but my eyes weren't dry for more than a minute through that whole movie... A must see, no matter how hard to watch!

Schindler's List...
My sister and I saw it when it premiered and we cried the entire time through. When it was over and we went to the ladies room, we were full out sobbing.

Re: Saddest Movie?
Too many to list... Braveheart The Pianist Titanic Steel Magnolias Terms of endearment And an oldie- Imitation of Life. I cried so much at the end of that one.
I know you said movies, but I can't even watch the finale of Lost again, I cried for hours and hours. Also, the end of the Time Travelers Wife (the book, I didn't see the movie).

oh that part is TOTAL crap. But I think what made me all emotional was just seeing the ship going down, knowing that this really happened. That's how I feel about any movie about any of the wars. The Vietnam scenes in Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan, etc....
