Laser all the way!!!
Where do you go for laser? I’m thinking of getting it for my mustache but don’t want to go just anywhere ! Also considering underarms as well
I want to laser my legs. They are the bane of my fuking existence. I shaved last night at 10 pm- at 730 this morning they felt rough already. Ridiculous
Consider laser!!! You wont regret it. Did mine 15 years ago with little regrowth to date. I had the same issue and dreaded summer just cause I needed to shave every couple of days especially since my hair is super dark and I have lighter skin.

They say light skin and dark hair works best for laser. And that is exactly what I have! Was it painful? How many times did you have to go? Crazy expensive?

I think the biggest question here is who are these men who are dictating what we do with our hoo-has? They should be happy to be invited to that area!
OP if you don't want to do it, don't.
I don’t see nothing wrong with catering to your partners preference. There are some females who don’t prefer men to be hairy for various reasons. Different things turn people on or off, why not try to make each other happy.
I agree with you - within reason - if the OP really doesn't want to do, she shouldn't be made to feel like she should have to
But your general sentiment, I don't disagree with.
Yea ofocurse do whatever makes you feel you comfortable. It really was the previous quoted I was commenting on.
I feel like majority of men will have a preference but deal with whatever. TMI but men will push that hair aside to get to their target goal. Where I feel like woman are more likely to say something, such as minimal hair and set her requirements. Lol.
This is just from personal experience and conversations from close fam/friends. I didn’t start waxing till I was 32 and I regret waiting so long. This was a rec from my friend and I went along with her. It was a total surprise to my DH.
The OP didn’t sound comfortable with removing the hair. She should not be coaxed into doing something she is uncomfortable with.
I also think it is especially inappropriate for a new boyfriend to comment on his new girlfriend’s grooming habits. The “new” part, IMO, is key.
But under different circumstances, I agree with what you’re saying.

Pain is relative honestly...I have a pretty high tolerance and I dont really feel it all but again doing it for 15 years you kind of get used to it. It can sting a bit but nothing crazy.
Legs I went 6x and was done. You may get lucky and only need 4-6 every 6 weeks and be done with it for a while and only have spots that need maintenance.
I paid $160 for a year of laser for my full face and underarms in Astoria. That is super reasonable and I go every 4 weeks so in the end it will be between 10-12 sessions. For full legs it will be more but you can find reasonable places.

I was about to say. When I wax my eyebrows , there’s regrowth in like 2-3 days already. I’m gonna check out the laser situation. There’s a Groupon for a place by me in Babylon village. I may go in and ask about it for my face

Just for clarification since I'm the OP - he was a friend of mine before we started dating so we know each other pretty well. This is probably TMI - but we've been exploring a lot of fetish stuff that neither explored in the past and we've been doing things that neither thought we'd want to do but are willing to try at least once to please the other person. If it's not something we like, then it's fine - just exploring new things. So - the shaving thing for me is something I've never done and was wondering what others did.
And now that I've done it, I'm going to let it grow in a little so it's not completely bare b/c I don't like the look (nor the stubble).

Brazilian - I go every 4 weeks. I used to do 3 in the beginning but it wasn’t necessary after a few years doing it.
For my eyebrows I get threaded so that is every two weeks sometimes 3.

shaving question TMI
I am dying from that post that is so famous on this board. EEEEEEEEvery time I go to a nail or aesthetics salon, I look at all of the name tags for an "Irene" I went once- before my wedding. I thought it would be so cool to be on my honeymoon looking like those "sluts in those movies" It hurt like a muthafukkr and I vowed never again! Once, I got my armpits waxed... I thought I was going to die! I prefer to shave everything myself, especially since I can do it as often or as little as I want.

Hair growth is hormonal so the hair follicles that were killed will not grow back usually but that doesnt prevent the possibility of new growth. It is not permanent per se but I have about 95% - 99% of the hair gone in the areas that I had laser done on. If any laser technician ever says its 100% permanent just run because they are just lying to you.

Oh, I know. I got the reference was Porn Stars but I think its a ridiculous and harsh comment. It also insinuates if you are bare you're like a porn star aka slut. Crazy

Yeah I know plenty of sluts who aren't completely bare so I don't think there is a direct correlation between sluttiness and your pubic hair or lack thereof.

Guys please don't misread me! Yes, I meant porn stars. At the time, I was young, naiive, and I never saw a porno LOL... DH liked them bare so I went with it. At the time, they were "sluts" to me because I was such a prude. I'm still bare down there so I am considered the queen of hoes. I just do it myself.

Lol, like I said benefit of the doubt. I get it.
I actually thought it was a movie quote and picturing it in that context made me laugh. Like a comedic scene where a grandmother or elder person makes a comment to their daughter.
that quote would actually be really funny comedy!
