The flu shot, swine or other, are similar in that they can cause a higher rate of neurological reactions.
This is a link to a video of a newstory about a very healthly atheletic young woman in her 20s who just suffered a horrific neurologic reaction (to the regular flu shot though), very similar in nature to GBS in the above cited articles. It was very upsetting for me to watch, just a warning but you may want to watch if the above article worried you.
Based on all this info, this is why I opted against the vaccines at this point.... http://www.wusa9.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=92345&catid=158 ETA- Also read the comments written to the young woman, many people attest to having reactions to the flu shot/vaccines.
I saw this on the news. God listening to her speak is just heart breaking I can't see the movie link at work but does this one end with telling you she had like 3 seizures doing this interview?!
Poor thing.
She is so pretty too.. such a shame!
No this isn't that one...that's another one, fox5, going around. My heart breaks for her. She had it ALL going for her. I hope someone can help her.
In one of these comme nts someone writes this:
In addition to mercury, flu vaccines also contain other toxic or hazardous ingredients like:
Aluminum -- a neurotoxin that has been linked to Alzheimer’s disease
Triton X-100 -- a detergent
Phenol (carbolic acid)
Ethylene glycol (antifreeze)
Betapropiolactone - a disinfectant
Nonoxynol - used to kill or stop growth of STDs
Octoxinol 9 - a vaginal spermicide
Sodium phosphate
How Safe is the Flu Vaccine?
Serious reactions to the flu vaccine include, but are not limited to:
Life-threatening allergies to various ingredients
Guillain-Barre Syndrome (a severe paralytic disease that is fatal in about 1 in 20 cases)
Encephalitis (brain inflammation)
Neurological disorders
Thrombocytopenia (a serious blood disorder
