I know when I swallow my pill every morning, im not preg.

To each their own... im not judging you neens!!!!Chat Icon

I'm not judging you either (i Really hope it didnt come across like that At All!!) Chat Icon

but my point is- we all have our outlook on it, and theres science that also tells us about it (like Deb said- it IS possible) also, look at how many people HAVE gotten pregnant on the Pill... its Def. possible. but my debate isnt about 'when life begins'... or even the double standard of why One is considered acceptable and the other isnt (regular BC vs. MAP), But, that its each persons right to make the decision for Themselves.

Right....and the owner of walmart made a decsion to sell what they want in there business!

ALthough Im not for MAP... Im not saying it should be banned forever!!! Im simply saying, it should come by prescription! If a person makes the decision to have unprotected sex, and no has to drive 50 miles, to get the pill...thats there choice...

For those that have "accidents" it stinks that gotta make that trip...but at least its still avail. to them!

Which is why whenever I hear about a lawsuit against WalMart... i begin to wonder what the TRUE intentions are.

Is this really about birth control? Or can it be just WalMart hatred?

Something to think about.

I agree Neenie. And I don't think a pharmacy should be getting into that debate either, they should dispense drugs as the law dictates. In this case, there seems to be different interpretations of the law on this topic.

I think it is about birth control, but the fact that Walmart is being sued brings the case to a whole different level of visibility.

i agree.

honestly- i'm usually against the 'I'm trying to prove a point to the world' Cases, but in this situation, i feel like its different, and can really impact So many standards in business and government.

I can understand that but know that my feelings on this are solely about the topic at hand and has nothing to do with walmart or not.

Most likely scenario.

With all the bad PR that WalMart gets... it still amazes me how well they are doing financially.

I think the fact that the lawsuit is for a total of $75 also speaks volumes for the intentions of the people suing Walmart! They're not out to make money - they're out to help other women who might want to make a choice about their body
