its not uncommon to men. Men just NEVER talk about it. Women talk about it much more.

OMG! This is just insane. This sounds like you are blaming a rape survivor for spreading a disease!!!
Chances are a woman who is raped will go to her gynocologist sometime in the year and get herself checked out. She doesn't need to go to the hospital right away to get hte mornign after pill.
Also- where is a MAN'S responsibility for protecting HIMSELF from a disease. Men can buy condoms you know!!

If I understand this pill correctly its actually taken so that pregnancy CAN NOT happen. Its not an abortion pill where there is already an embryo or fetus.
This pill is taken the morning after intercourse so that it would initially STOP conception from happening.
This is why I think this pill is not a bad idea for alot of woman who are rapped or whatever.
Problem is.. what about the millions of girls that now think they can have unprotected sex because they can take the pill in the morning.
That to me is the scary part.

If a woman is raped and gets a disease and then spreads the disease to someone else - well, she ain't doin it in a vacuum - the person who she's fooling around with is responsible for protecting themselves, just like everyone is responsible for keeping themselves safe from STDs.

She doesn't owe it to you to tell you. And it's a good idea to have both partners tested before sexual activity even occurs.

Emotions will not fix it but if you have been violated in this way, your first thought is not on going to the hospital... it is on whether you will survive another second. So basically you are saying that unprotected sex with a woman who wasn't raped is OK- but if a woman is raped then sex at all is out of the question.

I agree with what you are saying. I think the issue in this suit is that if the law requires pharmacies to carry all drugs that are commonly prescribed and WalMart isn't carrying it, they are breaking the law.
But as I said before, the way they are describing the law in the article doesn't seem so clear-cut.
