I'm down 5 lbs since the last time I weighed in (12 days ago), bringing the grand total up over 20lbs. I have sag-*** in all of my pants - I never seem to have a problem losing my hips and thighs. I still have a giant gut and backfat... not sure what I can do to move that. That's always the last to go on me.

I'm drinking a lot of home-brewed decaf iced coffee - I've weaned myself off sugar and sweeteners and just use FF 1/2 and 1/2.

I'm cooking a LOT more than I always have, and it's all lean meats, lots of veggies (i grind them into sauces so DH doesn't know what he's eating Chat Icon) and ONLY whole grains. They even sell whole grain hotdog buns now!

I almost Chat Icon when I checked out at the grocery store saturday morning, but what can you do. The pathetic thing is that despite the fact that DH is still perfecting the art of becoming one with the couch, he's dropping weight like crazy - even more than me, despite the fact that I'm exercising. Week 6 update:

Body - Still not feeling as comfortable with my body as of yet but it's getting there. Im down 3 pounds this week for a total of almost 10, not where i want to be at week 6 but at least the number are decreasing.

Endurance - I can definitely feel the difference, my energy has gotten better, which is awesome because Lauren is going to start walking anytime now.

Diet Progress - Doing good about watching what im eating. Going to try and not drink as much diet pepsi/coke and drink more water. I am trying to drink 5 bottles a day of water.

Exercise Progress - Can't go biking because it's too hot out so i am doing Zumba at home in my living room with some Zumba DVD's. Soon as it gets alittle cooler i will start biking again.

Hopefully next i will be down at least 3-5!!

totally sucked this week, put 1.6 back on....GRRRR! Although I knew I would. With going away for our anniversary, 4th of July BBQs, I wasnt good at all.

I didnt get much exercise in this week at all either.

Today is a new week. Back on track!

Didn't lose weight, didn't gain weight.
Was very off this week, working out wise & then the holiday had me at a stand still. With that said I will say I ate what I wanted but did portion control myself which may have helped and I was impressed. I did wear a bikini to the beach Chat Icon laying down was comfy Chat Icon sitting which I did a majority of the time due to Joey NOT cute Chat Icon

but my pants are still big Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon & I'm 4.5 lbs away from being my pre-pregnancy weight (still want to lose more then that though!)

Fell off the wagon this week-but there is no weighin until next week since WW was closed on Sun for the holiday. So...I get a couple days to try and undo the damage.

I started back up this morning, I'll do my walk and 30 DS today.

To help get out of this hole, I'm not going to use any of my extra points this week, I'm going to stick to the plan hard core.

Looking forward to next week's check-in (hopefully!)

Fell off the wagon as well this week - with workouts and diet. Still managed to lose .5 though Chat Icon - I have no idea how but I'll take it.

That makes it a grand total of 3lbs. Not nearly the pace I want to be going at, but a loss is a loss I guess. 17 more to go! Mini goal is another 10 pounds by Labor day. Next goal is the last 7 by Halloween.

Looking forward to getting back on track this week!

Week 6 update:

Body - up 2.4...Chat Icon to myself. I made some really poor choices this weekend...and knew it too. I skipped meals & pigged out on others.

Endurance - I'm loving c25k...I feel stronger after every run. No more leg pain or huffing & puffing even with my asthma & this heat.

Diet Progress - Back on track, more aware of what I'm eating.

Exercise Progress - Still just doing c25k...s/b doing more, but spend the other days running around with life & catching up on the neglected house chores. Chat Icon

Next week I'm on vacation. I'll only have limited access to the internet on my phone, so I'll be sure to catch up on this thread next week!
I plan on running at LEAST a few times while I'm away.

7/8/10 Update:

As of todays weigh-in I am down 2.9 pounds. I am totally shocked because t's my biggest loss and I didn't count points at ALL this week. I only walked once but beyond that I didn't work out at all.

Total loss is 8.1lbs since June 1st, 5% of my weight loss goal!Chat Icon Chat Icon

It's definitely good motivation to get back on track and keep going. I only have 4 pounds to go until i'm at my wedding weight and 7 pounds until my 10% goal. 26 more pounds to go!!

Week 7 (7/12) update:

Body: Starting to finally see a difference in my stomach, which is my problem area, but still have a long way to go (a lot toning)

Endurance - to be seen, Ive been slacking with the c25K

Diet Progress - -5lbs!!!!!!!!!! Thats HUGE! And Ive lost 10% of my body weight now. However, I will probably put some of it back on bc I think I had food poisoning this weekend, and didnt eat much. So in all fairness, food poisoning aside, I probably only really lost 2lbs bc of WW. As of this mornings weigh in - I have 8lbs left to lose. Ive lost a total of 16.4lbs!!!!!!!

Exercise Progress - Start the gym this week and plan to get back on track with the C25K.


As for the not smoking, I slipped up once, but got back on the horse, so its been 8 weeks (I think) minus one slip up.

Week 7 update:

Body: Down 1.4, for a total of 33!

Endurance - Doing well with the 30 DS/Cardio Max DVDs, can get through the programs but it's a workout!

Diet Progress - I was lucky to be down 1.4 this week, I have not been as strict we've had a crazy couple of weeks. I am going to get back on plan hard core, I would like to hit the 35 pound mark next week. Hoping to hit 40 before DDs party on Aug 14th.

Exercise Progress -alternating 30 DS and CArdio Max, but I have not done them every day. I'm good for 4-5 times a week now. I would be happier with 5-6 times a week.

had a nice heavy macaroni and meatball dinner last night and AF is due any day now, but I was STILL down another 2lbs when i weighed this morning.

Body - Was able to fit in one of my capri pants from 2 years ago. YAY!!!! 2 are still a bit snug but I should be able to wear them shortly.
Endurance - I can go longer doing activities/gardening/projects in the house.
Diet Progress - -2.4Lbs this week. I got yelled at again by WW that I am losing too fast. But I am eating my points. Total weight loss since official mommy makeover is 13.2 Lbs. 1st goal of 10 Lbs was achieved last week. Next goal is another loss of 15 Lbs and I will be pre DS weight. Then I will be just under half way to the ultimum weight loss goal.
Exercise Progress - Not much again except for moving a sofa out of the house with DH and this weekend (work and leveling off the sand for the patio project)

Body - Feeling better now that my body has gotten into more of a routine of exercising. I'm a little worried since I had some knee pain when I was doing C25K yesterday. Chat Icon I've never had knee pain before (always back pain) so I hope it just goes away. I took Aleve before bed and it's a little better today.
Endurance - I can definitely feel the difference when doing the C25K. I upped my speed for both walking and running.
Diet Progress - I lost 6.4 pounds this week!! My WI day is Friday, so I made a separate post about it. Chat Icon I am so proud of how well I am sticking to the WW and exercise program. I have a long way to go but I am excited to get there!!
Exercise Progress - Started Week 2 of C25K yesterday. DD#2 has been cooperating and sleeping later so I am able to get up at 6:30am, feed DD#1, put her back down to sleep some more, then get out to the garage to do my run/walk (that's where I keep the treadmill.) It's alot easier to workout during the morning than in the afternoon, when you are not in A/C! Chat Icon Chat Icon

Week 7 update:

Body - AF this week so no change.

Endurance - I can go HOURS gardening.

Diet Progress - -2Lbs this week. For a total of 15.2 Lbs. I had lost more weight mid week but AF was there and I did not lose as much. Getting "tired" a bit. I have to cook more and freeze. I love Gina's recipes. They really make me feel like I am not on a diet but preparing for DS' party yesterday, I did not cook as much and got tired of same old food. I still ate hotdog, sausage, pink lemonade and small piece of cake yesterday.

Exercise Progress - TONS of gardening this week. HOURS of weeding. I also finished my patio and installed a gazebo.

Progress towards goal - Loss of 15.2 Lbs since start of mommy makeover. Hoping to hit the 10% loss by the next 2 weeks. Next goal will be pre DS weight so another 13 Lbs to go. From today I need to lose an additional 44 Lbs to be within the healthy range for my size/age. But ultimate goal would be another 54 Lbs. I changed my ultimum goal by an additional 10Lbs. Chat Icon

Body - Feeling better, except knees are starting to hurt since doing the C25K!

Endurance - I'm on Week 3 of the C25K and had a rough time with it. My knees are really bothering me which made it hard to concentrate on the extra running. I have increased the speed a little though, which makes me happy!

Diet Progress - Sticking to WW! Friday is my WI day, and I actually gained 2 lbs! But, I didn't get excited because I had lost 6.4 last week, and figured it was water weight, so this week my body probably caught up with actual weight lost.

Workout Progress - Still only have time to do the C25K. Cannot fit in anything else!

Progress Toward Goals - Still chugging along. I still have a very long journey ahead, so I am trying my best to focus on how good I feel. Chat Icon

Week 6 update:

Body - I went down a size a couple of weeks ago and now its baggy on me. I am one pound shy of a total loss of 30 lbs in about 10 weeks!

Endurance -same

Diet Progress - I've been really sticking to it with only one iondulgence, my DD's birthday cake

Exercise Progress - I haven't been exercising since my FIL passed away last week, I haven't had the time. Starting agin tomorrow.

Body - still hate it, but clothes are feeling a little better

Endurance -Totally jumped off the excercise train with all the heat, and a not very good working A/c..willhave to revisit that

Diet Progress - -2.6 this week, skipped weigh in last week, due to some bad eating over the holiday weekend, but back on track.

Workout Progress -bad bad bad

Progress Toward Goals - have a LOT to go, but total weight loss is 7.8 lbs so far...slow ww. but scale is going DOWN, better than up I suppose.

Body - definitely noticing a change in my body this week. I feel stronger because of all the exercise I've been doing. And I lost another inch off my waist
Endurance - increasing each time I go to the gym. I am now up to 3.5 miles on the elliptical in about 30 minutes. When I first started going it took me 25 minutes for 2 miles. So I definitely see improvement
Diet Progress - On vacation this week so I didn't get an official ww weigh in but according to my scale I am down 2 pounds this week
Workout Progress - very happy with my workouts this week. I was able to make it to the gym everyday this week and switched between cardio and weight
Progress Toward Goals - still pretty far away from hitting my weight goals but I think I'll hit my workout goals very soon and will need to come up with a new one!

Week 6 update:

Body - no change whatsoever. I got so pizzed yesterday after finally getting on a regular workout plan and not seeing a damn change that I joined WW yesterday (Tuesday)

Endurance - I must say I've been VERY proud of myself in this department. It's as if I never stopped working out. I still have that same energy/drive.

Diet Progress - Made a huge change by joining WW. I HATE it already btw. Chat Icon I never had to diet before so I'm REALLY cranky about it.

Exercise Progress - I've been going to Stroller Strides 3-4 times a week and trying to walk just about every day. This is the only thing I'm happy with...it's amazing how working out makes me feel soooo much better.

Progress toward goals: I guess having that meltdown yesterday was a good thing! it only motivated me to realize I'm not going to do it all with just working out and have to really work on my diet. My body is completely different now and forget about mid 30's metabolism Chat Icon... I have to work even harder at it, apparently.

Body - I fit into my pre-pregnancy shorts, fit in my Sevens but they are a little tight because of preggo flab.
Endurance - n/a
Diet Progress - Still doing the BFing Elimination. Doing great, finding a lot of recipes
Workout Progress -sick when I came back from NY, still cleaning the house, but I have energy despite a baby who does not STTN. Starting the elliptical again next week
Progress Toward Goals - Lost all of my pregnancy weight! Now I want to work on another approx 40 lbs.

Week 6 update:

Body - Pants are big...Pants are big...Pants are big!!!!

Endurance - Can't lie, I'm impressed how I can breathe now while working out

Diet Progress - 5lbs. . .Woot Woot!

Exercise Progress - FINALLY finished Week 5 of C25K, took me like 2 weeks Chat Icon Joined zumba, had my first class tonight and loved it! Have done Excercise TV here and there

Progress toward goals: I can breathe, I can breathe while running Chat Icon Chat Icon & I joined WW which I NEVER ever thought I'd like.

Body - I don't notice too much of a difference, except for that my legs are more muscular than they are flabby.

Endurance - Is really good when it comes to the elliptical, but I tried jogging for the first time 2 nights ago and I thought I would die- just going around the block!

Diet Progress - Really crappy. I haven't been counting my points at all, but still sticking to 95% of my food to be sugar free/ fate free/ low fat, etc. I only lost .2 this week, but i'll take that over gaining!

Workout Progress - Pretty good. I do SOME form of exercise almost everyday.

Progress Toward Goals (how close are you to reaching your goals?)- I still have another 25-30 lbs to go. I've only lost 8.3 since June 1st.Chat Icon
