week 5 check in:
Your Body:clothes are HUGE on me, I need to start buying new stuff
Endurance: did c25k, the 4th week and I got through it with no problem (I've repeated this week a couple times)
Diet Progress: -2 lbs this week, I've lost about 25 lbs. 5 more lbs until I hit my first goal of 30 lbs!
Exercise Progress: Moving up to c25k, 5th week. Really nervous about this one. This week coming up I plan to do a bunch of zumba and kickboxing classes

Ok here goes!
Body - lost 1 lb Endurance - no change Diet progress - did AWESOME this week. Logged in my calories 6 of 7 days, was at net 1200-1300 every day. Workout progress - did elliptical 3x, weights once. Pathetic, need to step this up!

Body - gained .8, stinks, but since I was down over 4 pounds the previous week I won't complain, I'll just try to get back on the horse. My clothes are definitely getting baggy though!
Endurance - getting better at the DVDs, also noticed that I can sprint up and down the stairs at my house.
Diet progress - Did so so, couldn't resist stopping by my colleagues desk for M&Ms, but, she is out this week so hopefully I'll do better.
Workout progress - missed 2 days of my DVD routine due to stomach bug, but I got back on track last night

Your Body - Down 1.8. (Total 4.4) I feel a change, but not really sure if there is one... Endurance - When I am doing the c25k I feel like I can run a lot longer than I used to without feeling pain in my legs, etc. Diet Progress - I'm certainly more aware of what I'm eating. I did AWESOME this weekend at a wedding I went to. One trip during the cocktail hour - limited it to only foods I really wanted & didn't pile my plate high like I would have in the past. Ordered grilled tuna & ate the veggies, no potato. Exercise Progress - Still not getting in as many workouts as I'd like to, but when I'm not I'm always doing something - cleaning, running errands, etc., so it's not like I'm sitting around on my butt.

basically I started to take long walks and a re learned to put the fork down a little sooner.
I hope to start running soon.

I have been really slacking on updating this since i got rid of laptop internet and switched to a blackberry. Anyway,
Week Five Check-In:
Body - down almost 10 pounds Yay!!
Endurance - haven't really noticed a difference as of yet, i have a little more energy though
Diet Progress - doing good watching what im eating
Workout Progress - not so good, need to get out running more, things are just so hectic, still losing though so whatever works.
I promise i will keep up now!!

Ok here's my info:
Diet Plan: Eat less desserts, bread (carb items) and try not to eat late after 8:30ish
Exercise Plan: Workout 4-5 times a week. I've been running more. I like to go to the track and run 3 miles, and at the end run up and down the stairs on the bleachers from one end to the other. I also have the P90X DVDs that I am going to try and start next week.
Goals: I would like to lose 15- 20 lbs and do a few 5ks by the end of teh year. DH and I would do a few with family every year. Last one i did was on Thanksgiving 1.5 yrs ago when I was 2 months Preggo
Ok ... I think that's it...

cookiemonster Body: About the same as last week but I can definitely feel myself toning a bit Endurance: Pretty good Diet Progress: Nothing this week. I stuck to points and didn't lose an ounce. Very discouraged. Workout Progress: I did some hard workouts this week - 4 days of alternating kickboxing and spinning and a regular session at the gym yesterday. Each class was at least 45 mins and left me sweating, sore and with my heart rate jacked up. So I know I'm working hard. Maybe my lack of weight loss this week was a muscle tone issue? I don't know. I'm frustrated - 4 lbs away from my short-term goal and 8 lbs away from my ideal weight. ARRGGHHH.

Exercise Progress: I have not exercised to much this wek because we were moving but that in itself was a workout. I went to the kick boxing classes last night and it was great!!!!
DPerotti Body - I feel like my waist is thinner & my thighs have gone down a little (at least that is what my jeans feel like) Endurance - Definite change this past week. I am finishing up week 4 today, I was going to do it last night but honestly I just couldn't. Diet Progress - down 4lbs total- not ideal but I started WW this past week, so that is helping. Workout Progress - I don't have a lot of time. So I'm sticking with C25K & Excercise TV. I'm not very good at working out on the weekends, I need to get better at this. Although I did heavy gardening on Saturday (9am-3pm) and I counted that as MAJOR activity!!

eddiesmommy Body - I dont know what the deal is but it looks EXACTLY the same to me. I must be losing weight in areas Im not concerned about instead of from my stomach which is my trouble area Endurance - Definite change this week. I finished week 4 of C25K and despite almost passing out on the first day and not being able to finish the last run, the 3rd day was a BREEZE Diet Progress - down 3 this week! Total lost is 11lbs! 12 more to go! Workout Progress - I have so many new things Im trying, Im still trying to get into a groove and figure out a schedule. Last week I did 3 days of the c25K, one day of kickboxing, 2 days of my ab dvd. I start yoga one day a week on the 12th. So I need to figure out how to do yoga, 2 days of kickboxing and 3 days of c25K, all well working and taking care of the little guy.

lulugrrl Body - Maybe a little change, DH says my butt feel firmer, lol Endurance - on to level 2 of 30 day shred (modified where I can) Diet Progress - down .8 this week...I'll take it Workout Progress - I only exercised 3 days this past week.
maybeamommy Body - seeing small changes, but not on the scale! DH said my stomach is looking flatter! Endurance - okay. small changes. Diet Progress - doing okay, but not seeing the numbers move on the scale. trying to keep portion sizes in check, limit desserts and make better weekend choices. Workout Progress - Gave up on c25k. Was too difficult and became frustrated when I couldn't get through week 4 (after 4 tries!) Started pushing baby (22 lbs) in stroller around my block which is very hilly... about 1.6ish miles every day this week.

Shorty i continued my daily physical activity... did less than great on the diet this week though Chat Icon a family party always throws me for a loop! didn't weigh yet, but my BM dress for my sister's wedding is looser than it was 2 weeks ago. That's a good sign, right!
smdl Body - about the same as last week. Clothes are loser on me. Not 1 size down just yet though. Endurance - Feel lighter. It's not that much weight but it is noticeable when I do activities. Diet Progress - -3.2Lbs this week. I am sticking to the points. For a total of -10.6Lbs. First mini goal of 10 Lbs achieved. Exercise Progress - NADA again. Except for work but I had no show clients so I worked even less. MUST do gardening this week.

twinkletoes807 Body - Feeling pretty huge and good old AF is here this week! Endurance - Just started C25K on Friday, and even though I only did 2 days so far, it was a little easier yesterday than it was the first day. Diet Progress - I started WW online this past Friday. I was doing it three months ago and had lost 12.8 lbs in 6 weeks but gained 10.2 back. Chat Icon So, as of Friday, I am down 2.6 total from my original start date. Workout Progress - C25K Week 1: I don't have a lot of time so right now, C25K is all I can squeeze into my schedule. Since W1D1 was such a shock to my system, and because I started on a Friday, I am going to do an extra day of Week 1 this week and have Sunday be my W2D1. I'm feeling good that I am FINALLY doing this!! Come to think of it, I did take all of the kids to Rita's for an ice on Sunday and we walked there... so I did a little extra walking too!

Now I need your help!
I'm feeling really discouraged. I gave up on couch to 5k because I tried doing Week 4, Day 1 on FOUR occasions and couldn't get through it. It's just too much for me! Obviously that was really discouraging. So, instead... I've been walking around my block which is about 1.6 or 1.7 miles total and pushing Loey in the stroller (he weighs 22 lbs). But last week I didn't lose anything and this week I GAINED .4! I just don't know what to do!
It's so hard to find the time and motivation to workout and then when I don't see results, I get really frustrated!
I am exactly 10.1 lbs away from my PP weight. I gained 47 lbs and have lost 37.... but these last 10 won't come off!
My PP weight is considered "underweight" though and I'm wondering if my body is holding onto the weight because I am BFing.
I basically lost 30 of the 47 lbs in the first month without any effort... but the last 17 have been really hard. Now at 6 months PP, I'm still trying to lose the last 10 and it's so frustrating!!!! I would be happy to get to my PP weight, rounded up... which would be 8.8 more lbs.
HELP! Please

I think you should stop focusing on the scale.
Since you were underweight to begin with, the numbers are not you issue. I know you've posted that your stomach is the one area that is really bugging you. So, I would focus on that. Continue doing your walk but do some ab moves so you can target your stomach.
I know for me, my stomach is the last place that weight comes off, it is the most stubborn and only comes off when I lose everything else. Sounds like you have already lost everywhere else and can just zone in

At this point I woudl say, stop focusing on your weight but how your clothes fit.
Walking is great. This is my favorite thing to do. I do 1 hour walks with DS. I have issues with one of my feet and have not been able to do it but I love it. It's free and it's fresh air.

Week 6 update:
Body - Was able to fit in one of my capri pants from 2 years ago. YAY!!!! 2 are still a bit snug but I should be able to wear them shortly.
Endurance - I can go longer doing activities/gardening/projects in the house.
Diet Progress - -2.4Lbs this week. I got yelled at again by WW that I am losing too fast. But I am eating my points. Total weight loss since official mommy makeover is 13.2 Lbs. 1st goal of 10 Lbs was achieved last week. Next goal is another loss of 15 Lbs and I will be pre DS weight. Then I will be just under half way to the ultimum weight loss goal.
Exercise Progress - Not much again except for moving a sofa out of the house with DH and this weekend (work and leveling off the sand for the patio project)

Week 6 update:
Body - Feeling better now that my body has gotten into more of a routine of exercising. I'm a little worried since I had some knee pain when I was doing C25K yesterday. I've never had knee pain before (always back pain) so I hope it just goes away. I took Aleve before bed and it's a little better today.
Endurance - I can definitely feel the difference when doing the C25K. I upped my speed for both walking and running.
Diet Progress - I lost 6.4 pounds this week!! My WI day is Friday, so I made a separate post about it. I am so proud of how well I am sticking to the WW and exercise program. I have a long way to go but I am excited to get there!!
Exercise Progress - Started Week 2 of C25K yesterday. DD#2 has been cooperating and sleeping later so I am able to get up at 6:30am, feed DD#1, put her back down to sleep some more, then get out to the garage to do my run/walk (that's where I keep the treadmill.) It's alot easier to workout during the morning than in the afternoon, when you are not in A/C!
