Dina, can you tell me what one store would carry most all of the baby food you posted? I only buy Earths Best but they don't seem to have a wide variety.

I would like to go to the store(s) and check them out.

I love this thread.

I have a question. When DS teethes, he has a bad rash on his face that sometimes bleeds. I know I can use vaseline, but I am trying to get rid of any petroleum based products. I have Kiss my face for me, but it is scented and I am afraid that his skin is too sensitive. Is there a milk-based maybe or completely safe for sensitive skin lotion that anyone has tried?

I wash him with the Little Goat Goat's milk soap.

The makers of triple past have a new cream out for faces called triple cream. Scored low on skin deep it scored a "1". It is natural not organic. DD has sensitive skina nd I started using it on her. It works great! HTH

Is there milk in it? Andy gets severe eczema on his face as a side effect of his milk allergy. So I can't use most lotions. Very frustrating.

Does anyone know where I can buy organic rice, barley, and oatmeal cereal. I know Gerber makes it but I cannot find it anywhere. I have already checked Pathmark and Stop & Shop.

TIA I am sorry if this has been posted already.

When I was looking 2 months ago, Gerber Organic cerelas had been recalled b/c of larger clumps. We went CRAZY looking for it, finally saw a sign explaining why they were not on the shelves at Target. Now we use Earth's Best, love it! You can find Earth's Best in Wal-Mart, BRU, etc.

Thanks so much.

Does Trader Joe's carry Mum Mums?

I dont think so - but I'll be shopping there tomorrow and will look. Someone posted a GREAT price for them on amazon.com- a case of them for $24. They are normally $4 a box for 24 wafers

Donna it might be because we have a Super Walmart, with a full grocery store within it.

Are there any of those on LI? There never used to be... there might be now.

Re: The Official Organic Moms Thread

just tried this brand of juice-

Honest Kids

DS loved it, its like a Capri Sun type drink but is Organic, only 40 Calories and 10 grams of sugar (which is half the cal and a third the sugar of a capri sun)

for my son who is almost 4 this is a great alternative to the very tempting bad stuff plus its handy to carry around - I know I will be using more in the summer months Chat Icon
