Just wanted to let you guys know about Dr. B Well in Plainview - they are great and have lots of stuff plus a deli! I love Dr. B. Well's. I used to be friends with the manager a gazillion years ago. It does not look like much from the outside, but they have a great selection & the deli and juice bars are good too.

Re: The Official Organic Moms Thread
We started using Ecover dishwasher tabs (got them at Whole Foods) this week.
I am slowly replacing all of my cleaning products with greener ones- but have to do it one at a time so DH doesnt freak.
Don't ask me why, but I have to "fight" with him on everything organic. He doesn't feel its neccessary, but I do. I always win because I do the shopping!

buy a large bottle of vinegar and use a spray bottle with 1 part vinegar to 2 to 3 parts water. Works like a dream and costs next to nothing.

What do you use to get stains out of your carpet? I have yet to find something. This is the only thing I still use non green products.

Re: The Official Organic Moms Thread
Does anyone have any experience with any of the nautural diaper cremes?
Normally I don't use anything unless they have a rash but daycare now wants something.
Any experience with the brand below?
It's Nature's Baby. Image Attachment(s):

Re: The Official Organic Moms Thread
what sunscreen does everyone use?
I was at Wild by Nature today and the baby ones I saw were only either 18, 25 or 30 SPF. Their was one that was 46 SPF so I bought that one.
Has anyone used this product?

Re: The Official Organic Moms Thread
I wasn't sure if this was posted already, but I have a product rave......mrs meyers baby laundry detergent and surface spray. I usually go fragrance free, but this has such a nice scent and I love the way the clothes feel, nice and soft. I use the surface spray on his exersaucer, etc. Just thought I would share!!
