Re: What is everyones thoughts on bottle warmers?
I liked the bottle warmer, I pumped and at night I brought a little cooler upstairs with BM in it and the bottle holder came in very very handy. However, I didn't buy it, I borrowed it. Its an eh thing, you could do without it, but its nice to have

I take a little pot and keep it by my sink. I would run the hot water in it for maybe 20 seconds just to take the chill out.
He will also drink cold bottles now. I don't think I warmed them that much where he would refuse cold bottles.

Re: What is everyones thoughts on bottle warmers?
We have the Night and Day bottle warmer by The First Years and i hate it. My friends have the regular one by the same company and like it... I recommend getting one (its much faster than a cup of hot water) but look into some of the reviews or consumer reports...

I never got one and never missed it but I did just go out and get a CAR bottle warmer
We were at my nephews football game last week with nowhere to warm her bottle.
I registerd for a travel warmer. My sister said it would be a good idea if I was somewhere I couldn't warm the bottle up. Same here. Other wise I would use a bowl with hot tap water to warm the milk.

IMO it is a must-have!
ETA: We don't make th e bottles "warm"... we just heat them to room temp.
ITA. A bottle warmer was one of my must haves. Everyone is different though. Do you plan on using powder or liquid? DD always drank her bottles either at room temp or slightly warm. If you use liquid you have to refrigerate after opening the bottle so you will have to heat it up. If you use powder you can leave the water at room temp and make as you go so you won't need one.

Re: What is everyones thoughts on bottle warmers?
not a necessity IMO. I just used room temp bottled water and a formula dispenser cup when out and about.

Re: What is everyones thoughts on bottle warmers?
I dont see it as a necessity.
If we need to use formula we will just mix it with room temp bottled water- a good travel tip from a fellow mom

Thanks for the replies!!! My sister said that a bottle should be warmed up until 6 months of age. I didn't realize you could give a baby a room temp bottle.

necessary? no
super helpful if you can get a hand-me-down one? absolutely!!
ETA: DH often warmed up BM bottles but we served formula bottles from dry formula mix with room temp water.

You can give a baby any temp bottle. Cold is fine too!
