When did u stop feeling scared?
When do u stop worring about losing the baby and start to enjoy being pregnant? I'm 11 weeks and just want to get over this fear.

I'm 21 weeks today and still worry. Honestly, I think it's natural to worry at least a little about this, because it's something that is just so out of our hands. All we can do is take care of ourselves as best as possible but ultimately that's all we can do.

I am going to be no help because I am almost 39 weeks and still nervous...but the nerves are way less than they were in the beginning..I really started to feel good after my 12 week sono and got the blood work back hearing everything was looking good

I agree. I will be 38 weeks and feel the same way. I didnt really relax until after 20 weeks though.

I started to relax alot more after my level II at 20 weeks... but I still worry day to day.

I think no matter how far along you are it is always in the back of your mind. I am 12 weeks now. I thought once I was 13 weeks & had my NT scan I would relax a little, but prob not. I think once you start to feel comfortable you hear something on here, see something on tv, etc.. and that thought pops into your head again. I think it is normal. Once the baby comes you will constantly worry so I guess it starts the second you become a mommy.

i am 18 weeks and still think about "what if" but I am a little bit more confident now that things will go as planned... i think that after my NT, I felt better (12 weeks)

Honestly, it wasn't until I heard DD cry for the first time that I breathed a sigh of relief. Then a whole new set of worries kicked in.

exactly what i was going to say. it doesn't stop after they are born either. when i first told my parents I was pregnant, i told them how nervous i was that everything would go ok, etc. My dad said--"you are 30 years old and I still worry about you. that will never go away." It's very true.

You always have a small amount of fear, but once I could feel  everyday, it got a lot easier.

once I saw the baby Heart beat I was fine. My doc said it's rare that something goes wrong after you see the HB

Take a look at my screen name!
I chose it because I have ALWAYS been a worrier.
If there is something to worry about, I will find it- and worry about it!
So forget it with being pregnant.
I dread every single dr appt- fearing something will be wrong.
And my husband doesn't get it. He says I should think positive- well that doesn't help me! He asked me today if I will feel better after the 12 week appt, etc- I said maybe a little, but I will NEVER stop worrying.
Even after the baby is born I will be worried that something will happen to the baby!
It's terrible!

I am always worrying... Especially if baby is not moving much one day. I am 28 weeks and I dont think I will ever stop worrying. Especially when i read such sad stories on here..

Never.
And I'm due on Saturday. Even now if the baby doesn't kick 'enough' I feel scared. It's totally natural, though.
I think I did breathe slightly easier once I was well into my 2nd tri.

 I know the feeling!
I actually found that for once, i'm NOT a worrier!
After we lost one of our twins, I realized that I was not in control. It didn't matter what I did... I couldn't control what happened - so I made a conscious decision to just sit back and cherish every moment of my pregnancy. And I think I've done that so far!

Honestly never. I was scared up to the point that I had her and then when I had her I was scared of SIDS and a bunch of other things.....I'm a loon.
