Where should I go to try out beginner level DSLR cameras?
I've read some posts here saying it's best to really handle the cameras and get the feel of them.
What's a good store (in Nassau) to do that? Best Buy? Others...?
TIA!

costco...you can actually buy and keep it for 90 days and if you don't like it, you can return it no questions asked...
That is where I got my Nikon

i went to best buy.
I thought I wanted a nikon but after playing around with them, lI decided to get te canon rebel which seemed more user friendly. I would def ceck them out before buying.
Maybe go to Costco like PP said, seems like a safe way to get a camera you will like

I bought a Nikon D90 at Costco last month. I had it for a week and decided it was to much camera for me.
They gladly took it back. I just ordered the Cannon Rebel from them last night, from what I hear it is easier to use. Can't wait to get it.

B & H is great because they are huge... but they will likely be more expensive...

hmm...that's true. i don't really know how the prices compare to other places, but I have never noticed any sales going on, so...
the thing i liked about B&H from the one time i had to buy something was that they were very knowledgable about the products and spent the time explaining things to me. you could always just go and gather the "intelligence" and buy it someplace cheaper good luck!
