. She was told by her doctor after the third pregnancy she was to have no more children. She can't find ob-gyns that will treat her because she has been pregnant so many times.
Does she have medical reasons for that. I just cant believe anyone would say that to her. Its her choice. Plus they are getting their money.
I am catholic and I got married in the catholic church but im sorry the pull out and pray method is dumb. if you don't believe in birth control then don't do it.
I believe in birth control maybe IM going to hell. I thought the catholic church taught don't do it. Or to calculate your cycle. 
From what I am told if you have three C-sections (at least the type she had... first one was emergency) that's all your body can handle. Sorry if TMI but she lost A LOT of blood during the 4th or 5th delivery and it was very touch and go for both her and the baby. she has been through so many doctors because at this stage with her history she is VERY high risk.
Also please re-read my post... they CANNOT HANDLE the financial and emotional responsibilities that comes with raising these 8 kids. With 8 kids his wife "can't" work and he makes barely enough to support a family of two kids, not 8! My aunt and uncle (who had a mild stroke several years ago) live in Valley Stream and my cousin lives in Basking Ridge, NJ. My aunt often has to go there or like I said watches three to four of the youngest EVERY DAY in her house.... oh, and does about three loads of laundry for them. Neither my cousin or his wife can evn handle the day to day managing of the kids. When we have family gatherings she never pays any attention to the wants and needs of her kids... she plops herself down in a chair and never gets up claiming she is too tired. Well, she's the one that got herself into this situation.
They are in debt up to their eye-balls just for basic necessities... forget about luxury goods. They can't afford to FEED their kids. Oh, and they are both college educated from middle and upper middle class families.
My aunt told me that my cousins wife can't get a doctor to treat her... can you imagine 8 C-sections? My brother once said to me, "My God, her belly must look like a road map unless the doctor just surgically attached a piece of velcro to her incision" It's funny but it's not. If you guys only knew.

Janice -- You might check out the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility -- it's a great book and explains when you are and are not fertile. Takes all the guess work out of the situation and you can relax and have fun!!
I was just going to suggest this book also but Kara beat me to it.
