Who's nervous for tomorrow's outcome?
There was a report today on a Trump supporters caravan blocking access to a California polling place.
There are not both sides trying to intimidate and suppress voters.

Honestly, I am so ready for it to be over. I really hope Biden wins, but even if he does not, I will just be so relieved to have it over and done with. I am sick of the abhorrent behavior on both sides.
This is where I’m at. Done with this whole election in general for the same reason.
I also been preparing my family for the chance that Trump wins. I’m surprised that many of them think there is no chance he will win again.
The amount of supporters I see for him both on LI and Where we live in NJ, I feel like he will win.
There is none of this nonsense in lower Westchester. Another mom mentioned ONE pickup truck with a Trump flag driving around saying "I just couldn't believe it! Where did it come from?! How did it get here?! I've never heard of such a thing!"
And I said "Either the Whitestone or the Throggs Neck."
Not sure if this is in the area you are speaking:
https://nextdoor.com/events/ny/rye/trump-rally-car-parade-thru-westchester-county-3761511
Could be. Musn't have been much of a turnout of she only saw one truck.

There are a lot of Trump supporters in Nj, especially south NJ. I just saw several cars in Hackensack (north Jersey) with flags on their cars. My DH works in the Union and a lot of the guys are Trump supporters.
I am acquainted and friends with people who will or have voted for Trump. I don’t get it but it’s their right. Maybe not enough to swing NJ, but I wouldn’t assume it’s rare that he has many supporters here.

Suppression and intimidation is the only way they can win because their platform is unpopular. They offer no actual solutions to problems.
So many examples across the board.
Take Cindy Hyde Smith literally admitting it out loud that she wants to make it harder for some people to vote. And she is expected to sail to reelection tomorrow.
People will sacrifice their own health, safety, and economic welfare to "own the libs." It's amazing.

Regardless of who wins, I am nervous. This election season has been very polarizing. I also think the election will not be decided tomorrow so we will be in a weird limbo state.
To the above poster, to say people are only scared that democrats will loot/riot is ridiculous. There are extremist on both sides who I am concerned about. I do not think it is determined by your political leaning.
Can you provide some examples.
Trump supporters surrounded Biden's motorcade on the highway to intimidate him.
Trump supporters blocked NYC and NJ highways and bridges over the weekend.
Biden was not on the bus and they say some of these parades are blocking roads. None I have seen but I haven't seen them all. Don't think any of them were looting, rioting and burning things though.
If you care more about the destruction of property than the reason why it's happening in the first place, your priorities are askew and you're not living in the reality of a country that has been torn apart by a white supremacist.
If this country cared about humanity, we would not be in this predicament.
And you're just sealioning with no real intention of learning or understanding. Trump has destroyed this country and he's a disgusting human being, and anyone who supports him is exactly the same. Spare me any "not all" because, yes, you all are.

Either way, I have eyes. I know what I see in my neighborhood. Not a Trump sign or flag to be seen.

I think things are going to be bad no matter what happens. People are angry and there are still going to be people extremely angry tomorrow, no matter what happens.

She said that in 2018. Not that it is ok, that is not something she just said.

Yes! It's so scary how divided this country is and I blame Trump 100%. Never once does he talk about unifying the country. He ONLY cares about his supporters and that's what scares me. I don't think Biden is perfect at all, but I do think he will listen to both sides and he will talk to the whole country and not just his "fans."
I want this to be over already. Even trick or treating there were people with their Trump flags out, which isn't a big deal at all, but telling our kids you have to say ridiculous things like... Trump is the best to get a candy bar. Seriously?! I know she was joking, but come on.
We are going back in time dividing this country and moving to a civil war. It's so scary.

I am sure you would care if it was your home or your business and you had nothing to go back to. You can't be clueless to not know many people are getting paid to destroy things and the media has made all of this worse.

Yes, I am sure she was joking, but us parents weren't within earshot so she just said it to the kids. My boys are 9 and 11 so we were walking with other kids their age and the parents together watching from behind. WE weren't right there. The boys came back and said that woman said we had to say we liked Trump or something to that matter to get the candy. Like I said... not like the parents were there so I am sure she was joking, but unnecessary to say it to kids.

No, I wasn't there and I really didn't think it was a huge deal, just one of those roll my eyes moments. Yes, a bunch of the kids came back with the same story about Trump from her house so I do believe it. I don't think the woman was threatening them or they felt unsafe. It's LIF I'm venting to, which honestly hasn't seen much action in a looong time. I'm not calling the police on her. I just thought it was a bit ridiculous to bring politics out during Halloween is all I'm saying. I can remove my post if it offends you bc I understand what you're saying. Again, just a vent and eye roll moment on LIF.

Not much offends me, honestly. This is perfect though for this post why there is so much violence and why people are afraid. So much taken out of context and stories started.

Absolutely.
I have very strong opinions but it would never occur to me to wrap my candy in Biden stickers - something that several people did for Trump - or have a huge Biden cutout holding a candy bowl. Or make the kids say something good about him to get candy. It just makes those people look so very foolish. Like they are indoctrinated or something.
I have lawn signs so I'm not saying don't show your support but to link it to kids and Halloween like that is just batshiit crazy.

Wtf... that’s insane. Omg, this country is so effed.
annndd..this is how rumors start which is why we are the way we are now. People read headlines, never open up the story. No one watches or reads the news anymore. They go by what they hear from so and so. Even if this IS true and she said she was joking, she.was.joking.
So you really don’t know what she said or if she did say that. First poster gave you exactly what you wanted and that is why we are divided. Not from 1 man.
OMG!
You are SO off the mark here.
She's telling an anecdote about something her kids and other kids in the neighborhood told her about something someone said about Trump.
So she's not supposed to believe this group of kids?
To even try to connect this to the violence and tumult we have seen in this world recently is baseless, absurd, and next level batshiit.

I understand, but this is why I just am venting on this site. Nothing on Facebook or big sites. Again, just a vent and I didn't think it was going to cause violence and stated several times I'm sure she was sort of joking. As everyone else had said... there is NO reason to bring politics up during Halloween. I don't care about the flags or lawn signs. Like the PP said... it's the cardboard cutouts and people talking about Trump to children.
