I can still remember ever moment when Princess Diana died. I was at Fire Island and it was just surreal, everyone was instantly sober and all the bars had the music turned off and everyone was just surrounding the TV's, very un-FI behavior.
I was really really upset when Chris Farley died I just loved him.
I also get very upset when I think of Selena Such a senseless death.

probably Heath Ledger (same age as me) Kurt Cobain and now Micheal Jackson.

John Ritter- I was a big Three's Company fan growing up. He was a comedic genius. His death was so shocking.
also
JFK Jr and Carolyn Bessette Kennedy. Their death definitely affected me. It is so heart breaking to think not only of the untimely passing of someone as iconic as JFK Jr, but also a family losing their two daughters.

Heath Ledger definitely stayed with me. He was just about my age, and leaving behind such a young daughter broke my heart. He had so much more to live and experience.
I also found John Ritter terribly sad.

I wasn't really aware of Selena when she died, but after the movie, I was also very sad for her death. So young, surrounded by so much love, so much to still do in her life, and as you said, such a senseless death.

Whenever there is a day when two celebrities die, like today, I think of the day that I came home from school in 5th grade and my mom told me that Jim Henson and Sammy Davis. Jr. died.

Princess Diana - bc I was (am) the same age as Prince William and I remember feeling so sad for him and his brother that they lost there mother.
The other would be Biggie. He died when I was in HS and I loved his music.

Lucille Ball - I think she's the first celebrity I ever shed tears over. I LOVED her.
John Ritter was another one, probably because it was such a surprise. I remember hearing the news on the radio and I thought for sure they made a mistake..

and oddly enough Estelle Getty. I absolutely loved her on the GGirls and i just had so many memories of being at my grandmas house on sat nites watching that show with her that it really hit home and how my grandma isnt going to be around much longer either.

While I feel bad when anyone passes, and feel terrible for their families and loved ones, I have to say that celebrities don't really affect me.
I'm shocked when a celebrity dies young or unexpectedly, but I never get overly upset over people I do not know.
