I would not quit if I had perfect working conditions - I was paid enough, I enjoyed my job, the commute was bearable and it was flexible with my schedule (for my DD's sake since my DH's is very unreliable because he's on call 24/5).
I quit my job last year because we moved and my commute increased from 15min to 2hrs. Having my DD in daycare for 12 hours a day was not an option. When we bought our house, we knew that I'd be quitting some day but mentally I wasn't prepared to quit so soon - about a month after we moved. I find myself getting a little stir crazy not working. I am currently pursuing options to try to make me happy in both worlds (career and mommyhood) again.

The way things are going lately, abso-friggin-lutely. I am sick and tired of barely seeing my son all day.
