Re: WWYD
are you returning to work after having the baby?
at all of my jobs you had to be employed for at least one year to get maternity leave.
starting a new job probably won't give you that benefit.
IMO I would stay at current job and maybe start the job search after baby is born/while on leave

Re: WWYD
I started a new job in January and found out I was pregnant in May. I really don't like my job but I am sticking it out so I get maternity leave. I will make my decision after the baby is born if I am going to look elsewhere. I was talking about this last night with a good friend who also works in my field and also does hiring at her company.........she brought up a good point that no one really is going to hire someone if they have any kind of knowledge they are pregnant. What keeps me going is knowing right now my job is a means to a very positive end. I know someone else posted a similar thread about this once and I think the overall concensus was to just suck it up and stay where you are for the time being.

Re: WWYD
P.S. A lot of people who are moms have also told me not to go thinking the "grass is greener" elsewhere. Right now, my major gripe with my job is just the overall bureacracy and day to day B.S. I have to deal with (which I know probably happens in MOST jobs out there). I have major perks such as coming and going as I please with no one saying anything, a good salary, decent co-workers at my agency and health insurance. Just some food for thought. Being pregnant often overwhelms us with a TON of decisions. I have found to just take it day by day and try not to think too much.......
