I have pcos but was able to (miraculously) conceive but of my children naturally. Took me 2 years to get pregnant with dd and 1 year with ds. Fast forward 5 years (now 35) and I'm more irregular and have only had 1 natural period since ds (all others have been brought on by provera). So my question is, would you wait longer to see if it can happen again or go on clomid? (We've been TTC since July). I know this is terrible, but I'm nervous about twins on clomid.

Chance of twins on clomid is very slim, and you wouldn't start on a high dosage anyway (probably only 50mg to start). I would talk to my OB about starting it. If anything, it would probably put your mind at ease and help you to relax a bit more and just enjoy it. Tends to happen quicker that way! lol

I guess it depends if you are ovulating or not. If you need provera to bring on AF doesnt that mean you arent?

Re: WWYD re: TTC #3

I have PCOS and don't ovulate on my own without meds. Clomid only ever helped me produce 1 egg. Make sure you see an RE so they can monitor how many eggs you are producing and how fast, my egg grew very slowly even on meds.

Good Luck.

I always say there is nothing wrong with getting an opinion from an RE or GYN. Just BC you make an appointment doesn't mean you have to start treatment. Just knowing your options will help you make the best decision for you.
