So you cut someone off while driving in your car, either on purpose or by accident, and you are considered an animal?
Then you deserve to be dragged out of your car, have your face slashed, tires slashed, windows smashed, all while your wife and CHILD are in the car? OMG. I'll stop trying to understand where you are coming from.
My thoughts exactly. Im sure Ive accidentally cut someone off before and I dont think this is an acceptable reaction AT ALL. Honking would be an acceptable reaction, maybe yelling a curse or two and giving me the finger. These men were ANIMALS.

and why was he run over....because the RR wanted to get by the bikers and didn't want to get in the left lane that was open and every other car was passing them by in.
Please. This driver of the RR is not innocent by any means and so far the media has only shown one side.
I am still not condoning the riders actions by beating him in front of his family but I am sorry....if you run over one of my friends I am probably going to chase you down and get you to stop so the cops can arrest you.
This is just ONE of many responses from other motorists who saw these scumbags riding that day.
'I saw these guys yesterday, the bikers, and what a pack of assholes they were. Splitting lanes on the highway at speed (70mph between 2 cars), cutting people off. They had me boxed in so I couldn't get out of an exit only lane so they could get off. Not saying they deserve to be hit, but they had it coming.
I had my blinker on and was handsignalling I needed to get out of the exit only lane. everyone kept passing on the left to cut me off in front of the exit, 4-5 of them flipped me off. I tried rolling slow but they had no inkling of how to ride well. I ride myself, and this was just heinous."
They had NO permit to be on the roads taking over them as if they owned them and could tell drivers where they can and can go.
Again, I feel no sympathy towards the bike rider who is in a coma. All I can say is karma is a bitchh!!!
If someone runs over my friend - I call the cops and let them do their jobs, NOT TAKE MATTERS INTO MY OWN HANDS!
I just can't fathom how you can even feel a bit of remorse for any of them?

That is exactly what my cousin said. She was stuck in the middle of them with her two young children and she said she was petrified and called the police. She said they were all around her car, she couldn't change lanes and that they were swerving, speeding and then stopping short. She said she almost hit a biker and she said if she did, she would have kept driving b/c she was scared. So the poster that said that the media is slanting the story, the people that were there said that they were out of control and reckless. They may be your friends, but they put their own lives and the lives of innocent people in danger.

How many times have you been cut off by another driver on the road?
Did you then proceed to chase him down, stop short in front of him on a highway while your pack friends surround him and his family in their car?
Did you then bash their window in and try to bash in the back window where their child was?
Did you pull him out of the window and beat him in the street in front of his family?
I didn't think so....please stop with your posts about there being more to the story. I and many others don't need 'more to the story' to see what POS scum these people are.
This could have easily have been ANYONE on these boards...it makes me sick to even think about how this could have been my family...
This 10000%. It makes me sick to think that this could have been me or DH driving and I'm sorry I would have done the same exact thing the guy in the RR did without hesitation. The fact that the guys in the RR is not being charged tells me he did nothing wrong.

I'm confused when this guy got ran over - it looks like in the video one of the bikers was run over after the brake check and after the RR tire was slashed when the RR was trying to get away from the mob...if thats the case then I definitely don't feel bad for him, he was asking for trouble and is now suffering the unfortunate consqequences for his own bad decisions.

These bikers are known assholes. Me and my boyfriend have seen them in action over by the 59th Street Bridge, they're well known for being total punk asses so no, I'm not the least bit sorry for anyone who was hurt in the latest stunt they pulled.
If the guy in this pic is the dude who stopped short in front of the Rover, well, then he deserves to be in the hospital bed. What asshole does that?? Did he REALLY think he'd be able to stop a five thousand pound vehicle?

You can the see the biker (who was run over) jump off his bike and run up to the car and i dont think he just wanted to talk! This situation is my nightmare and i do not feel bad for the man in the coma. He has a wife and kids how the hell would he have reacted in RR's shoes? He would have done the same damn thing. eta the guy who is hurt is the one with the bright green bike and purple shirt

If u have a LYNCH MOB of appx 50 dirt bikes, atvs, motorcycles that are driving irratically on the High way.. how is it not possible to "cut them off and knock them down" when they are intentionally hogging up all the lanes? And just for argument sake, he signaled, thought he had clearance and boom out of nowhere another bike appears.. that gives u them the right to verbally and physically assault him and intentionally cut him off?? He stopped when he tapped the cyclist who stopped in front of him on purpose. The bike doesnt even budge when he hit it.. They SURROUNDED his car, cursed him, banged on his windows, kicked his car, slashed his tires..he has a crying child in the backseat with a panicked wife.. ACCELERATE!! Absolutely what i would have done! You wanna act like an animal, i will treat you like one..sorry my kids come first!

Eff that.. if that was me, I would have mowed all those suckers down, shift into reverse, take some more the arses down and drove away. If I feel the safety of my child and family is compromised and if I can't remove them from the situtation like how these basatardos surrounded him, I will take you down.

sorry. But that picture doesn't make me feel bad at all. While he may not have been the one to brake check the driver or cut him off...he made a conscious decision to be a part of what was going on in the moment. He was right there as they slashed his tires and tried to pull him out of his car. It sucks that he got run over and ended up with these injuries...but he CHOSE to stay there and be a part of it.
If you expect to corner a man and pull him out of his car and have him believe his family is in danger and expect him to stay put and accept it...thats just crazy.
This all could have been avoided if they didnt escalate the whole scenario
Same. Don't feel bad at all. This is his crew's fault, for starting trouble . Hope his crew will help pay for his medical bills because it is 100% their fault this dude was hit.

I once saw a huge group of motorcycles in NYC popping wheelies, and going through every red light. They broke so many traffic laws it wasn't even funny! Wonder if it was this stupid group

We must live near each other. I've seen them on 1st ave numerous times. They are a bunch of scum bags. Not to mention, it's illegal to drive dirt bikes on the road. I'm glad this is getting media attention so these morons can be stopped.

Seriously, my heart was POUNDING watching that.
I don't know what happened before the video started rolling, but I don't really care either. There's no excuse for that. They rode like animals and they basically forced that RR to hit the biker. I mean, I was horrified because he really went over the bike, but I'd probably have panicked and done the same thing. They posed an imminent threat to himself and his wife and 2 year old kid!

It does sound like there was a whole lot of baiting and looking for trouble going on.
This behavior needs to be stopped. No one should be put in a position where they can't avoid an accident, are ganged upon, and fear for their saftety on the road. None of us should ever be in that position, and anyone who is even a small part of putting people in it to make a show or a spectacle or a point should be punished. Severely.

Me, my DH and my 3 boys were on Queens Blvd on Sunday and found ourselves right in the middle of these asssholes too. They were in no way respecting the road or anyone on it. They were seriously riding like animals and seemed to be looking for trouble. I have ZERO sympathy for them or their friend.

I honestly do not know how anyone in a sane state of mind can defend these people?!? I have 0 sympathy for the biker. If you watches the video at all, they were clearly starting problems. If you watch other videos posted vy these loons you will see that there M.O is to cause havoc and mayhem. there is a video of theres where they are running redlights and have the audacity to pound on a car because he was following the law and driving on a green light. You will get no sympathy here.
