So this is an odd 2 part question
I bought a pair of nice work trousers on eBay. Wore them for the first time on Friday (they were NWT), and came home to see that my legs were stained black, my pink undies were black, and my tan drivers seat is black!
As of this morning, my legs are still slightly gray (despot 2 showers) and I think my car seat is ruined.
1 - how do I prevent this from happening again? This is the first pair of work pants I'vr owned in years and they fit great.
2 - is there anything I can do to pursue this with eBay or the seller regarding my car seat?

This happens to me with jeans, it takes a few washes before it completely stops. I guess if they are machine washable, that's th best way to prevent this from happening again.

This happens w/jeans but NEVER to that extent. I'd contact that seller. Where are the pants from? ARe they a brand you're used to?

I wouldn't hold the seller responsible unless they actually made the pants themselves. Most new pants that are dark will transfer color if they're not washed first before wearing. Did it say anything about washing before wearing on the tags? If not, then you'd maybe have a chance at getting compensated if you contact the manufacturer.
