I woke up today at my lowest weight in like 10 years!! I am so close to my first major goal. Also my measurements were great, and now I just need to keep focusing on my thighs/calves because that still has much room for improvement!

I decided not to step on the scale this morning. I dont think I did that bad this week, but I am not feeling very confident about results. I didnt want to be dissapoointed and possibly slip as a result so I am taking a pass this week. Looking forward to WI next week! Hope everyone has a great weekend and great week ahead!

seriously, how do you eat so little and still have the energy for 45 min of exercise? i could never have a kind bar for dinner, it barely is a satisfying snack for me!! teach me how you do it lol

it's so encouraging to see all these positive posts.
my weigh-in was today as well: -1lb (i eate horribly all last weekend, and half this week for DHs birthday, so i'm pretty happy) Overall: -7 lbs since 1/1/16
BUT, the big thing:
I've reached my first short-term goal!!!! i am now down to my pre-baby weight (DS is 5) So EXCITED!!!!
Now to get to my post-baby weight (i lost 20lbs after having DS)
ALSO, i am wearing my wedding band and engagement ring again! I haven't worn my wedding band for about 3 years now. Engagement ring only on special occasions because it was tight. now I can wear both again daily
we can so do this! let's keep up this awesome work!

No yesterday was really bad eating but I worked out so Late that by the time I got home I wasn't hungry and just wanted to shower and go to bed. I was too lazy to make a shake so I forced myself to eat a Kind bar. However, this morning I was hungry so I made up for it. I had two plates of lunch at work.

Like I said, I'm not tracking this weekend. Just wanted to say I can't believe how much LESS I can eat! I had a slice of pizza and was full forever. It would normally take 2 and a few garlic knots and I'd be looking for a snack in an hr.
Then we went for a late night snack and drinks at hard rock and I could only fit 2 chicken tenders and a small amount of nachos down. And was FULL. Like I can't breathe full.
Pretty proud of that lol. My DH used to tel me to slow down. Last night he was like you're done??? Shocked.
Feeling good. Wound up walking 5 miles yesterday. Unintentionally.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Tomorrow starts the new week!

Everyone is doing FABULOUS! Seriously, great job everyone
I've been super busy at work, so I haven't had any time to log on, but I lost 1.5lbs last week, for a total of 62.1lbs.
I've been averaging 1000 calories a day, which my carbs being at 50 & under, and protein over 70g.

Don't get discouraged ! Weight fluctuates. 2 lbs isn't that much. Could be too much salt or AF on the way. Stay aware of your meals this week and drink tons of water.

Thanks! I am still not down all the way but I keep going at it. I noticed the last two days, I have been filling up on so many vegetables... cabbage, cucumbers, peppers, bok choy, broccoli, green beans, regular beans... that I haven't even been very hungry. Actually not hungry. My mind was telling me to eat but my body didn't want food. I had a yogurt for breakfast, a huge cabbage salad for lunch and now i have vegetable stirfry waiting for me for dinner but i cant even eat it. I feel full. It's so strange because I didn't have any snacks or anything besides some cheese with the cabbage salad. I guess my belly really is shrinking it can't handle as much food anymore. The other day I ate a brownie sundae (shared the dessert with dh) BUT I felt sick the rest of the night from it!

Snack: Baby carrots Light ranch dressing dip
Coffee
L: Turkey and 2% cheese sandwich 100 cal multigrain round Lite mayo Fresh chopped salsa Serving of bread and butter pickles
D: 5.7 oz roasted chicken breast 1 cup roasted Sweet potatoes 1 cup roasted broccoli Olive oil & fresh garlic
Snack: Thin mint granola bar 100 cal Decaf tea w lemon
100 oz water & 2 cans black cherry seltzer
Exercise: treadmill 40 minutes at 3.7

I feel off a little with the drinking on the weekend and gained 3lbs back bleh!! But I'm going to get back up and hit it hard!!

L: The usual PB&J and an apple
D: 4 cups romaine lettuce 1/2 can string beans 1 2% cheddar snack stick 1 cucumber Fresh salsa Balsamic Italian dressing
Tuna salad w lite mayo, onion and celery On toasted 100 cal whole grain round
Exercise : treadmill 45 min. Mostly 3.5. Some 3.7 and jogged @ 5.0 a few times for a minute at a time - gettin there!!

It's never too late to start!
I'm only tracking to keep myself within the calories MFP gave me for losing. I was never a tracker before. Now I know why I would never lose more than 3 lbs !
If you're not ready to go all out - then don't force it now. But you can start by making healthier choices.
What I did before starting this diet - healthier choices - less carbs, more veggies - didn't eat past 8pm - drank more water
Then I got serious and starting tracking. After 2 weeks of that, I started walking on the treadmill at the gym. Next week I'm adding weights in the mix.
1 step at a time.
