I'm finally under 110 lbs! I'm slowly but surely reaching my goals!!!
It never worked for me either until I became diligent with tracking calories and always stay at or under my calorie goal (with a few cheat days a month of course!) and dedicated myself to exercise at least 2 hours a week.
Now I am slowly losing. I have lost 10.5 pounds as of this morning over a 4 month period. I am hoping to lose 9.5 more total. But I am not going to try and rush it. I just want to get through superbowl, valentines, my birthday, and my 2 week vacation without gaining too much and ruining all the effort i've put in over the last 4 months.

If you're not ready to go all out - then don't force it now. But you can start by making healthier choices.
What I did before starting this diet - healthier choices - less carbs, more veggies - didn't eat past 8pm - drank more water
Then I got serious and starting tracking. After 2 weeks of that, I started walking on the treadmill at the gym. Next week I'm adding weights in the mix.
1 step at a time.
I agree! Dont leave us! I am not tracking. I have just been trying to focus on what I am eating and making healthier choices. I am also just focused on the eating and not exercise right now. Any little change is something.

Umm no get back in. As you can see I fell off after the first snowstorm and gained 3lbs back. Was discouraged but just get back on!! You can do it, one day at a time and we are here!!!!

lunch: cheesy frittata South Beach
Dinner: chicken fajita salad with sour cream
Snack: small bag of chips, skinny caramel macchiato
Water: 96oz
Chinese kickboxing 45min

I'm starving today but I guess that's because I did a 40 minute Jillian Michaels workout this morning and then had to shovel for an hour and a half. This is not a good snow day. I haven't even baked anything... waiting for superbowl... I'm going to stuff my face with homemade cannolis and chocolate brownie cookies!!

Friday 2/5
B: 1 egg , 2 egg whites Broccoli, turkey, Swiss cheese and fresh salsa on top Fiber one lite eng muffin 1/3 fat cream cheese
L: Turkey and 2% American cheese On potato roll W pickles and Dijon mustard 10 baby carrots
Snack: Cup of coffe w 2% milk and ID FV and sugar Halo tangerine
D: Homemade veggie stir fry Brown rice
80 oz water & 1 black cherry seltzer
Exercise: no gym this morning. But I did shovel 2 different times for a total of almost an hour. Sweaty!!!

It's a new week ladies!
Monday 2/8
B: 1 egg , 2 egg whites Broccoli, turkey, Swiss cheese and fresh salsa on top Fiber one lite eng muffin 1/3 fat cream cheese
L: (the usual) PB&J on 100 cal round Gala Apple
D: 2 cups homemade lentils 2 oz ww pasta
Snack: 90 calorie ww vanilla ice cream cone (these things are a joke they are so small lol)
120 oz water & 1 black cherry seltzer
Exercise: 1 hour on treadmill. Mostly 3.8, some 4.0. And I ran 5 different times for 1 minute each at 5.0

Oh no. That can be very discouraging
did you have a lot of salt? Sometimes that can really make you retain. Also is AF on the horizon?
Just try to keep focused and eat healthy. Forget the scale for now and just think heathy

How do your clothes fit though? If you've been working out you could be building muscle and still look leaner. I'm 5' tall and 110 used to be my ideal usual weight (under that and I looked too skinny) and I'd get crazy if I gained 5lbs. But right now I am 117 but still in size 0s because I've been working out hardcore and totally changed my body so I try not to obsess over the numbers on the scale so much. As a pp mentioned, it also could just be bloat or AF

Tuesday 2/9
B: Multigrain Cheerios 2% milk Banana
L: Turkey & 2% cheese sandwich W/roasted peppers & lite mayo Baby carrots Lite honey mustard dressing for dip
Snack: 1 cup veggie stir fry
D: Roasted chicken breast and veggies 4.5 oz chicken breast 2 cups of veggies (broccoli, string beans, onions, carrots, artichoke hearts, mini peppers and diced tomatoes)
Salad - lettuce w balsamic vinaigrette
Snack: Chewy granola bar 100 cal
Water 100 oz and 1 can black cherry seltzer
Exercise: 30 min treadmill on 4.0 with 1 minute running bursts at 5.0 every 4 minutes Lifted free weights and did 20 push ups

Not a good evening.. My DH is my diet killers
Wednesday:
Breakfast: egg whites, roasted tomatoes, caramel rice cake with peanut butter.
Lunch: Cesar salad, yogurt, kind bar
Dinner: penne vodka with shrimp salad
Pray that I make it to kickboxing tonight!

me too, it seems impossible. I know slow and steady but I always gain and have to re-lose first so I feel like I never get the chance to get that last 10 lbs!
