Wanted to give an update.. So a couple of years ago you guys may have remember I lost about 55lbs went down from size 10 to 0. link to post Anywho so about a year ago I gained some weight and my pants were fitting tight but I refused to get what I call "fat pants" cause I was going to lose weight. Well I didn't, so I caved and got my first round of fat pants. Then those starting fitting tight! Well this past November, I had to cave and get my second round of "Fat Pants"
I am happy to say that I fit into my first round of Fat Pants! I only lost 6lbs but I believe I lost inches. So keep at it girls, you will see results!
How awesome!!! Love it!

Wanted to post this because I'm pretty excited!!
Went to Thyroid Dr. Yesterday to check levels and while there asked for Lipid Panel because my triglycerides are usually 500+. Once close to 800. They kept telling me to eat better, less carbs, lose weight, etc.
They have been high for years. Even with diet and exercise - I was never able to lose as much as I have been this time around.
Anyway... Triglycerides were 116!!!!!! They haven't been that low in YEARS. And I mean YEARSSSS It was my main goal - to get healthy INSIDE before looking good. This is working and I am so excited! Cholesterol was still a little high at 213. But he wasn't concerned. It was more last time - I think 232.
I'm gonna cut out some of the animal protein and the daily eggs and add some more oatmeal and beans.
Recheck everything in 3 months

L: PB&J on 100 cal multigrain round 1 Granny Smith Apple
Snack: 1/2 cup leftover string beans w garlic & oil Raw Broccoli w Dijon mustard
D: 2 cups homemade lentils 1 serving whole wheat pasta
80 oz water & 1 black cherry seltzer
No gym today

all of you girls are keeping me motivated!! I wanted to pig out so badly today and not work out, but I still did a 30 minute pilates dvd and didn't have a snack after dinner. I am proud of myself for not binging tonight after dinner even though i wanted to so bad. The extra calories would have given me 10-30 minutes satisfaction at most!! but knowing I didn't put on unnecessary weight or unhealthiness for that snack lasts days!

That's great! You made it past a binge. I know it wasn't easy, but you did it! Next time you feel it coming on, read this post and see how happy you are that you didn't do it. Maybe it'll help next time

This is so great! Good for you! I was diagnosed with Hashimotos late last year and even after going on meds couldnt understand why I kept gaining weight. Finally I started reading up what to eat and not to eat. Turns out the food that I thought was helping me stay on track was totally killing efforts. I was a Crystal Light junkie, chugged it to get my water in (WW encouraged) eating Fiber One bars, high fiber foods (again encouraged by WW) This I think helped sabotage my efforts given my condition. Anyway, cut all that out since the beginning of the year, only drinking water and green tea, and 95% clean diet. Seems to be working. I feel so much better and the weight is starting to come off.

Total since 1/1: 5 lbs
I am 0.8 lbs away from my first goal.
Kind of disappointed I did not make my goal this week. But I know why, so trying not to be too sad.
DH put it best "you still lost this week. I Refuse to accept your disappointment!"
Next week's plan is to add more exercise and try to plan healthier dinners.
