praying everything is ok!

i had bleeding at 7 weeks and 8 weeks - it wasnt period like bleeding more spotting than anything else and turns out i had a subchronic hematoma.

my sister had period like bleeding pretty much her whole first trimester 3 out of her 4 pregnancies - babies were perfectly fine!

good luck

You might have a blood clot in your uterus, I think it's called hematoma or something like that. It's very common in the first tri.
My friend just went through the same thing, she had heavy bleeding and had to be on bed rest for a week or 2 , she is fine now.

I'm praying for you and the baby. My wife had bleeding at about the same time in her pregnancy as you. She had been spotting and then one night she started to bleed red blood. We went in for a sono and everything was fine. The Dr. didnt know what the cause of the bleeding was, but told us that its pretty common. My wife is now going on 11 wks and so far so good! She cant wait to get out of the 1st trimester! As long as you arent having any cramping and the bleeding isnt too heavy, I wouldnt worry. God bless!

Praying everything is ok!

My BFF had a hematoma also and bled from very early on through the third trimester. Full on bleeding. Like a real period. She had to have a sonogram every single week and it was super stressful for her, but she went full term (actually a week late!) and has a healthy 1 year old now.

I hope everything is ok! Chat Icon

I started bleeding heavily, like a period, when I was about 7 weeks. It turned out to be a subchorionic hematoma. I bled on and off for weeks after that as well. Sending you and the baby tons of Chat Icon

Re: Changing the subject to think positive --- bleeding in first tri - w/ UPDATE

So we went and got a sono. I am supposed to be 6W4D. We saw a sac, but it was empty. The tech asked if I had 28 day cycles, I said no, more like 32 days. She said that would mean I'm only in week 5 and it's too soon to see a heartbeat.

She said that some bleeding is common. The sac is there and in a good position.

I am having slight cramping now, and still bleeding. I was very hopeful up until now. I'm going to wish for the best but I also need to be realistic.

Thanks to everyone for your FMs and prayers. They mean alot. I will update whenever I know more.

Ugh. Will you be going back for another sono in a few weeks or sooner?
