There are protestors outside of a planned parenthood in Hempstead. I'm always tempted to pull over and ask them how many of those babies do they plan on adopting.

Its easy to stand outside all day with a sign. Much harder to raise a child. Idiots. Chat Icon

Well I *raises hand* would love to adopt one. I cannot b/c of my medical condition. I am against abortion. Guess I am an Idiot, huh? So since I cannot raise an adopted child, I'll go an hold my sign now. Chat Icon

ETA: Girls, THAT was a REALLY ignorant statement. NOT everyone CAN adopt PLEASE keep that in mind before posting what idiots pro-lifers are. THANK YOU

Re: Debate '08

I should have been on here from the beginning. I would have at least enjoyed the debate.

The idea of going back to the way things were before Roe v. Wade is scary to me.

I think Mccain needs to stop being so negative towards Obama. I feel like Obama answers the questions, where as Mccain just picks Obama apart

I agree.

Exactly. Picking McCain apart is the job of everyone else!

That depends on who you are voting for. Both sides do that.

Yes, absolutely! I just think it is disingenuous to completely trash everything McCain says, and in the next sentence, praise Obama for not trashing McCain.

Look, if Obama was getting whiny and huffy, I'd totally say that. I am impressed with him taking the high road. I love pointing out whininess. Obama isn't perfect in my eye. I am not married to him. But he just holds himself together better than McCain. He will always point out what he agrees with before he gets into what he disagrees with. He is very eloquent and keeps his cool.

Does anyone actually think that either of these two men are going to come into office and actually fix this economy with what they've said tonight? I mean, seriously?

Not really. BUT I do know this: I OWN a small business, an S-Corp. If you cripple small business, the economy will go directly into the toilet. Plus, when has MORE government EVER been the answer? Does Medicare (gov run), Medicaid (gov run), social security (gov run), etc. WORK???? If you owned one of these entities as YOUR business would you say it was a total fiscal failure? IMHO, bigger gov is NOT the answer. PERSONAL ACCOUNTABILITY and living within your MEANS is the answer. Looking to the gov to "bail you out" and "save you" IMHO is the recipe for a fiscal disaster. Just my two cents

You stand outside a planned parenthood in a poor town and scream and yell at frightened young girls with signs?

I am against abortion too, but I would never do that, and I can't ever see you doing that to someone else.

A young girl is going through a lot when having an abortion. Does she need people screaming and calling her a murderer?

Personally, I think the people that stand there with signs ARE idiots. They should be doing something much more worthwhile, like maybe trying to educate young girls and women instead of tormenting them.

I DO NOT think that people who are anti-abortion are idiots.

Can someone remind McCain that it's rude to interrupt?

And also let him know that he has a creepy smile and I'd appreciate if he'd stop smiling and laughing.
