Ah, has nothing to do w/ lies.
I hate to tell Obama, I don't know where he is getting his info from, small businesses do make $250k+.
My dad's business is one of them. Yet, right now he can not afford to pay his suppliers, and has already had to lay off people. He has even said he will have to close his doors for good if he gets more in taxes to pay. And this is with income of $250k+. The income of businesses is used to pay expenses and to pay employees. My dad had to deal w/ this before...now we are in a depression, recession, or whatever you want to call it.
Look much respect to both, but it irritates the heck out of me when he says that most businesses (small) do not have that kind of income...they do! My family's business has been operating since 1973! I think they know what they make.

ummm yea - 98% of smalls businesses in America make less than $250K??

I come from a long line of small business owners...Obama's tax plan sucks for small business owners!

is this not the norm??
i mean, i would think if i started a small business, and made $250K - then i wouldn't be that 'small' , no?  isn't that a good profit? (i guess it would depend on the type of business, i.e. expenses, overhead, etc...)
i'm really trying to understand - at what $ amount is a small business small - or not?
$250k?

...and yes, earmarks are a "small" percentage of the spending...
...and yes, eliminating them will NOT solve the problem...
Yet, continuing to utilize that kind of spending, no matter how small he claims it is, is not helping.

I just hate these debates because no matter what htey say, it's allllllllllll speculation. ALL. Until they're actually president, there's no way for them to REALLY know how they can handle the real issues. I mean, they should have to be an apprentice to the president first or something
