Actually Paulette, it goes way beyond that. The AP only scratched the tip of the iceberg. I started the thread last year that Janet is referencing. It's not just county fair tickets...it was the please vote for me and I promise to donate them to LIF and then she went and gave them to two of her friends to bring their whole family. She won them for her "office". I bet her job didn't even know she entered.
She accepted help and tons of money from people to help her and then spit in their face without so much as a thank you. She DEMANDED people volunteer more and talked shit about them when they couldn't. People showed up out of the goodness of their hearts to a home that was so filthy and covered in feces they had to take frequent breaks to get fresh air. When they did venture out, JANET could be found lounging in a chair in the sun smoking a cigg or taking a nap in the trailer. Nobody observed her actually lifting a finger. They came with coffees ordered lunch for everyone and opened their hearts and pockets to her.
This all for a woman that turned around and talked shit about all of them. Then continued to come to LIF and ask for help for everything under the sun including the items above. She NEVER missed an opportunity to go to a NKOTB concert or a WWE event. Her priorities are as backwards as they come.
She stopped coming around because after last years thread she realized the well had run dry. The jig was up and no one here would be giving her anything anymore.
If her true message was about getting the will etc she would NEVER had tainted that message with this crap. She brings this ALLLLLL on herself and I sadly don't even feel bad for her anymore. She is so manipulative and conniving that she's tainted her whole story for me

I realized alot of this after reading emilylives post. Thankfully, I wasnt part of the crew that went out bc I could have been. I posted alot more back then and I remember the situation well. I probably wasnt there bc maybe I had Gillian, not sure. It sux but its not worth it to me to never help others on this board, kwim.

That's just it though. People are so scared to help now because of this. And it's sad. I DO read this board on a daily basis even though I am banned because I find it fun, informative, and I love the Food section. I see so many women on here who could use the help of the good women (and men) of this board and unfortunately one bad apple has spoiled a wonderful bunch. Other women have lost their spouses, babies are sick, women are sick and they are doing everything they can do survive. I wish I could take every dime I spent on Janet, and donate it to Sophia's Cure, or Erica, or Dita, or any of the awesome women here who have NEVER asked for a handout.

But it's totally ok. It's just that I will not, and have never stood for anyone tarnishing my name. I have been a real asshole on this site in the past and I can honestly look back and say I know WHY Ron banned me at the time. I read her post this morning and it just chapped my ass and felt the need to come on here and say something, and I did.

I don't follow every story on this site, but I know enough to find Janet pretty distasteful. Disabled or not, she was a bit of a con artist and nobody likes to be conned.

I want more details on this. How does one sue LIF post fundraiser?
Was it a threat, or did she actually find a lawyer dumb enough to represent this cause?
Did LIF actually have to respond to a summons? Did they actually have do defend against this?
I'm just. Wow. I'm not often speechless but man, this is a freaking doozy.
I've seen people scam before, I've seen people take advantage of situations.
But this takes the cake.

Why was her house condemned? What is the story there? I see LIF pulled together and rebuilt her house, I saw the pics, nice work was done.
And what does her husband's death have to do with her house being condemned? Someone please connect the dots for me, because I'm not seeing a direct cause and effect here.

I think that FINALLY it was described for all to see and understand. The last two pages explained to those who didn't know, what went down and they were able to make their own minds up about how they felt.
That is IMHO how you call someone out

this is a prime example why people on LIF have to stop using the "bullying" term all the time. If you dont know the back story, you won't understand why the people posting are doing so with such anger.....
This is not bullying,...it the TRUTH!
I admit I didn't really get the outrage before. I got that people felt duped or rubbed the wrong way, but I didn't truly understand the depths of their anger.,
BUT, I don't think anyone was bullying in this thread. I've seen internet bullying, this ain't it.
The more this story unfolds, the more I understand the anger.

I want more details on this. How does one sue LIF post fundraiser?
Was it a threat, or did she actually find a lawyer dumb enough to represent this cause?
Did LIF actually have to respond to a summons? Did they actually have do defend against this?
I'm just. Wow. I'm not often speechless but man, this is a freaking doozy.
I've seen people scam before, I've seen people take advantage of situations.
But this takes the cake.
I'm not sure she actually had a lawyer, but from what I heard she was constantly threatening to sue because it was "her" money...

I think that FINALLY it was described for all to see and understand. The last two pages explained to those who didn't know, what went down and they were able to make their own minds up about how they felt.
That is IMHO how you call someone out
Good job K for not losing your shit and saying it just how it was.
I don't have it in me to lose my shit about this. It wouldn't get my anywhere and it's just not something I want to do to myself. The right way to get my point across was to just explain, not be a jerk about it.
