My personal favorites are the posters on here who have also participated in some SERIOUSLY shady shit but still think it's appropriate to get up on their soapbox to tell posters how terrible they are for posting well, um, the truth.
Some people on here know NEXT TO NOTHING about being honest, good, or truthful and should STFU because karma WILL bite them in the arse.

I happen to take bullying very seriously, and OK maybe on this thread it MIGHT apply (although I doubt it), so I wanted to express my opinion about the overuse of that term and look what's happened. Arent I being bullied now? This is so silly.
No at this point, it still sounds like a difference of opinion.
If they were calling you names or making you afraid to post/be somewhere then that is bullying. I think you might want to look back at your own definition and then apply that to any location/activity that a person chooses.

Presentation is everything sometimes.
And it's quite sad because some people were really hurt by actions of Janet, but explaining that without all the passive agressive, just to get a laugh behavior might have made someone take it seriously, most just see those people as ridiculous and evil spirited instead.

no. the issue is that some posters have compassion for Janet because she may possibly have "mental issues" causing her to act certain ways and not understand certain things - leading to strange posts and actions that a healthy person may not make.
"other" posters have no compassion and state that it is not due to a mental illness but due to the fact that janet just wants to take advantage of people. so, they are fed up.
either way, no one knows so everyone should just calm the fuckk down and have a drink  ITS FRIDAY PEOPLE.

 Thank you for putting into words what I couldn't.. and so eloquently to boot... If the LIF community feels wronged by this Janet person, there are less inflammatory ways of expressing that... To those of us who don't know what went down, it just sounds like a group of people attacking someone who may (or may not) have some illness... and her mother, and because she won some free tickets and honestly, bringing up her mother is just wrong regardless of what occurred... Instead of enlightening those of us who have no back story, it just continues to comes off as a mean-spirited attack with no justification.. because nobody who was wronged is stepping up to actually justify their commentary... beyond just saying "hmmm maybe there's a reason".. but then never actually stating this elusive mysterious reason... so, then tell us what happened?!... this whole PSA watch out for janet and her antics is lost on us when below the belt insults are thrown into the mix... Just offering the perspective from this side of the fence.

i just have to say this: i did a search regarding the OP, and i am BLOWN AWAY by all the love, support, help, money, etc that you gave to her. you guys ALL really pulled through for her for YEARS! From start to finish. Between GTG and rebuilding her house from the ground up, WOW. I don't know what specifically happened to have ended that relationship, or what went on with Ron and the rest of the LIF staff. But I now have a better understanding as to why you guys are so upset. You are all a very special bunch of ladies. I can see why some of you would be skeptical to help out after that experience, and why people who need help would be a little aphrensive to ask after that.
Again, i don't know what the final straw was, but someone said that they think that she just posted this post to see what would happen, referenced a kernal of popcorn exploding (don't remember who it was), but i think you are right. i mean, if her intentions were pure, and she wasn't guilty of something, she would have come on here and defended herself already. I have to say, that i was taken back by some of the comments on here. i don't think i understood until now the magnitude of the situation, and how much you guys helped her through that time in her life. it's amazing. so, i just wanted to say that i think you all are very special for doing what you did. that's all.

I have been reading posts also. Trying to understand what went wrong. Can't really find that info but what I did notice was the thread about the proxy that Janet posted in her OP, I found numerous posts of hers over the years about proxys.
One major thing I noticed is that the thread she referenced in her OP....she has bumped that thread every year at this time in March since she posted in 2008. She bumped it in 2009, 2010, 2011 and again today. I believe in her original thread she posted that it was the 3rd anniversary of her Dhs death and she was bumping each year in memory of his death. Hence her bump today (along with the statement about the death of her DDs teacher, which has also come at the same time as the anniversary of her Dhs death).
I just found that interesting. As outsiders not knowing the full story, I am still confused. Is she truly a mastermind who is being conniving? Or is she posting a thread (with a link to an old bumped thread) to commemorate her DHs death at this time of the year?
I just can't seem to find what transpired that went so wrong. Wish someone would post what actually went down, so that we can fully grasp what is going on.

I have NOTHING to defend from the little i have read from this thread. I came on here simply to state to MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR PAPERS IN ORDER AN NOT SUFFER AS I DID. BOTTOM LINE IS , IF YOU WANT TO SEE where all the money went, guess what I have records of it ALL....I NEVER SCAMMED ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER! FM ME AND WE CAN TALK. I WILL NOT DO IT IN A PUBLIC FORUM! Most feelings came from the fact yes I win a lot, CAUSE GUESS WHAT I ENTER A LOT. I have not one but 2 Families. MY TRUE FAMILY and my BIRTH family... I WAS ADOPTED. MANY ARE CONFUSED BY THAT. (my real family has NOTHING to do with LIF and yet my birth family does, you connect the dots(birth sister,who I have NOTHING TO DO WITH)
so again till you actually get to know me dont judge cause you have NO CLUE who i am..... what comes through typing on a computer is NOT WHO I AM. I am VERY bad at spelling and at expressing myself in writing. take it as you may.... FM me or heck actually get to know me in real life(and not just 2 or 3 times but over REAL TIME), you many be presently surprised!
BOTTOM LINE IS I NEVER WANT TO SEE SOMEONE GO THREW WHAT I DID!!!!! AND STILL GOING THREW 6 YEARS LATER! GET YOUR WILLS,LIVING WILLS ECT IN ORDER!!!! Keith was 34 years old when he had his first stroke on St. Patties day in 2006, his second stroke 4 days later
and was gone after that. all due to a work injury. so think it will not happen to you and you have time YOUR WRONG. TOMORROW IS NOT A PROMISE ! That is MY BOTTOM LINE!
Ps. Just after I made this post, I got a call rom afriends daughter that she was in terrible pain and I am sitting at the exact hospital where keith layed dying 6 years ago....... a true friend would only do that Image Attachment(s):
