I have NOTHING to defend from the little i have read from this thread. I came on here simply to state to MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR PAPERS IN ORDER AN NOT SUFFER AS I DID. I DID NOTHING WRONG TO ANYONE HERE. UNLESS YOU TAKE THE WORDS OF SOMEONE who is BANNED from here and those who follow the word of her. THE SAME VERY PERSON (S) who pick on ever single one of you behind your backs, NO ONE IS SAFE FROM THIS SITE .. VERY REASON I AM BARELY HERE anymore. I WILL not go further into this then that cause it only feds into their beliefs... you want to question me then you will do it the adult way. I do not never have and never will play the high school game..... go to my fb find my friends from high school and see that I NEVER played that game. SORRY not gonna take the fall. AND IF LIZ and RON felt I did something wrong with them , then would have said something to me , which they have NOT.
Those who feel i have a "mental" disease guess what your RIGHT it is called LOSING MY SOUL MATE. MAY YOU NEVER FEEL THAT. AND BEFORE SOMEONE SAYS ANYTHING GUESS WHAT YOU DONT KNOW, I KNOW OF 3 PEOPLE WHO TRULY KNOW the feeling(from LIF).ps. I still sleep EVERY NIGHT with Keiths teddy bear. I never scammed as some may think I have , if you did feel that, guess what again your wrong. everything was VERY TRUE, I lost my husband , I lost my house, at the same time, all money is accounted for to rebuilding my home, WHICH AGAIN I AM VERY GRATEFUL FOR... look back i could not have posted about the thanks again again and again, even tried many of time to have a G2G here to show off the LIF house that was built. Not till it was said at another g2g that , well now that I know you , i feel better going to a g2g at your house i knew what was felt by many.
BOTTOM LINE IS , IF YOU WANT TO SEE where all the money went, guess what I have records of it ALL....I NEVER SCAMMED ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER! FM ME AND WE CAN TALK. I WILL NOT DO IT IN A PUBLIC FORUM! Most feelings came from the fact yes I win a lot, CAUSE GUESS WHAT I ENTER A LOT. I have not one but 2 Families. MY TRUE FAMILY and my BIRTH family... I WAS ADOPTED. MANY ARE CONFUSED BY THAT. (my real family has NOTHING to do with LIF and yet my birth family does, you connect the dots(birth sister,who I have NOTHING TO DO WITH)
so again till you actually get to know me dont judge cause you have NO CLUE who i am..... what comes through typing on a computer is NOT WHO I AM. I am VERY bad at spelling and at expressing myself in writing. take it as you may.... FM me or heck actually get to know me in real life(and not just 2 or 3 times but over REAL TIME), you many be presently surprised!
BOTTOM LINE IS I NEVER WANT TO SEE SOMEONE GO THREW WHAT I DID!!!!! AND STILL GOING THREW 6 YEARS LATER! GET YOUR WILLS,LIVING WILLS ECT IN ORDER!!!! Keith was 34 years old when he had his first stroke on St. Patties day in 2006, his second stroke 4 days later
and was gone after that. all due to a work injury. so think it will not happen to you and you have time YOUR WRONG. TOMORROW IS NOT A PROMISE ! That is MY BOTTOM LINE!
Ps. Just after I made this post, I got a call rom afriends daughter that she was in terrible pain and I am sitting at the exact hospital where keith layed dying 6 years ago....... a true friend would only do that

You barely post here because your shit was blown up. I do know people you went to school with (small world y'know) and they say the same things that have been written in this post. The sense of entitlment, the shadyness, all there then. Sometimes Janet a tiger never changes their strips. Sometimes it just is what it is. So, dont come back 3 days later and give the same old sob story and the woe is me crap that SO MANY of us all know all to well. It wont work. I think a site of grown woman and a few dudes can make a rational judgement call on their own without the influence of a BANNED person. And in true Janet form you threw someone under the bus, its all good. You may get a few "oh, janet we know you are being bullied around" responses, sure there are a few bleeding hearts here. BUT you wont get it from everyone. You made your bed, enjoy sleeping in it.

Since I am positive you are muddying up my name behind the scenes to the few people who actually feel sorry for you, I have a few minutes between cleaning my house and getting ready to start my day to let everyone here know what I called you out on. The reason people were telling me you were making threatening Facebook statuses about me, the reason you flipped your shit and went on a rampage telling people I can not be trusted.
Janet posted on a FB group that she wanted to win tickets to the County Fair. Begged for votes, posted about it numerous times to ask everyone to vote for her picture of her and her co-workers. WELL, some of us went to vote and saw that she was only losing by two votes. Low and behold, Janet eventually won the contest. I did not vote for her but clicked on the names that DID vote for her. Here is one of them:

I cannot seem to find the other but the other name was Janet under a name like Oplanet Janet or some shit like that.
Now, you tell me this. Is that a FAIR way to win a contest? Is that right that she used the Facebook page of someone who is deceased just to win a few tickets to the County Fkn Fair? Please note that the only thing visible on Keith Orlando's FB page is that he "likes" the county fair. I'm sorry but that is sick.
This is just a small wave in the sea of absolute SHIT that Janet has produced but I am not going there.
All I know is that if I couldnt pay my property taxes, or afford to by myself a 10 dollar keyboard:

Ron and Liz and MANY people on this site have gone above and BEYOND for you Janet. Do you forget the time you told me you had no money for Christmas gifts and the next day I Fedexed you gifts for your daughter? Or how about when you needed something to wear to a formal event and I offered to take you shopping or come to my home and pick something out, but apparently you got a better offer?
For all of you wondering why people are pissed off, these are only a few of the reasons why.
And with that I am sure this name will be banned or this thread will be pulled so I hope everyone has a lovely weekend!!!

Really? Country fair tickets? in addition a less then 20 dollar keyboard, a camera that was less then 100 bucks? This is what everyone is arguing over saying they have no time for Janet? TBH...if it were me...I would so move on. This is SO not worth the trouble or this thread.

Sorry if it wasn't relevant enough for you Paulette. It's a pattern of pity me, take care of me, i need, i want behaviour. Nothing any of us have done is ever enough, because she always wants more. She needs help. Many of us have helped her or tried to help her time and time again only to be turned on when we were no longer useful. Not just turned on in a 1 on 1 sort of way either. Nope, that's not Janet's style. She'd rather lie and incite public outrage and make physical threats so that people who are ignorant come A-running to her side & give her more free shit. Always crying widow. Always playing the victim, despite her calculated and manipulative ways. For 6 years. Other women have lost their husbands & managed to do what they need to do for themselves. But not Janet. She'd rather cry for her supper than work for it. I've never suffered such a loss, and I certainly would not want to be in her shoes, but at what point has the give me charity bit over-stay its welcome? Ad if she is 'mentally needy' people have tried to help her get help in that regard too.
Is that relevant enough?

To those who don't know what happened, here's a summation that someone sent me around the time of the last big blow-up. I think it illustrates pretty well where the issues are:
Around the same time, Janet's husband died (6 years ago?) and her house was basically falling apart and unlivable for her and her daughter. LIweddings held a fundraiser for her and from what i understand, raised $25000+ for her and her daughter. Apparently after that, Janet tried to sue LIF because she wanted to use the money for whatever she wanted (paying cable and cell phone bills) instead of JUST for the house (which was the purpose). That made LIF not want to help other posters in need who have cancer and others who have lost DHs.
After that, Janet was always asking for help or a handout without ever really giving back in return. When people were helping to fix up her house, she'd post that she ONLY had 4 volunteers there that day and needed more, etc. things like that.
The recent event that brought this all up (recent to the last blow up) was this...
Janet posted asking for votes to win a contest. The prize was 20 bracelets to a county fair. She said that if she won, she'd donate the bracelets to LIF. People voted, she won. She takes like 11 of the bracelets for her own family, then "donates" the rest to 2 unknown families (not LIF). When one family backs out, the DAY of the fair, she posts on LIF that she has 6 bracelets for whomever.
An old LIFer who was banned (and who had been EXTREMELY generous to Janet - there for her when her husband died, donated a great amount of money, even went to her husband's wake, without even knowing her at the time) called her out about it on FB saying that she should have donated most of the bracelets... like kept 2 (one for her and her daughter, or even 4) and donated the rest. Janet flipped out and said she was doing the best she could... etc etc etc back and forth.
Then, Janet makes her FB status calling out this woman (with first and last name) "warning" people to stay away from her.
this was the status:
so if you know a ***** ***** and your husband past away and your house was condemned at the same time, stay far away from her, you might owe her your life cause she donated to a fundraiser you never asked for.

There is much more but I'm sure that LIF doesn't want things re-hashed since some of it involves issues with them.
Bottom line is that because of dealings with her, LIF stopped doing fundraisers to help people who might need it in the community. Years ago they were the first to come to the aid of someone who needed it and after Janet, they STOPPED because of the drama and her behavior. That speaks volumes to me. But I know others will not see it or know the story so they will (as she wants to happen) feel sorry for her.

Janet used a public thread, not us. She came on here with a goal but decided to again play the victim by talking about a thread that got yanked because of her assholiness (but WE were the bad guys). I did not see any random "I hate Janet" threads. She did this, and I'm pretty sure it is playing our exactly how she wanted. Congrats, Janet, you are the center of attention again. Woe is Janet. Sorry if I don't feel this entitles the LIF viewing community to a 6 year long play-by-play.

I can't contribute much more than what Emily posted but a few things stick out when I think about Janet:
Like Emily said, she expected people to help her. I remember reading posts on here like "Can someone come by and take my daughter bowling" -- Who the heck asks a bunch of strangers for this? She would then get really mad if she had no volunteers. She was asking things like this on a regular basis.
Every single post with Janet always seems to be about drama. I know that as a community, everyone was devastated when her husband died. They wanted to do whatever they could to help. Ron and Liz went above and beyond to help out. SHE took advantage of their generosity, which in turn hurt the rest of the LIF'ers because they had been burned by her. Unfortunately there have been so many other LIF members who have lost their husbands, or who have had sick children, and we weren't able to do for them what we did for Janet, because everyone would always be wondering "Will we get scammed again?"
People donated their time and their money to help her out. She always felt like she was entitled to it all. I feel for her situation and can't imagine losing a loved one like that, but I also have a feeling that she was like this way before Keith died.
The fact that she comes on here, every few months or so, spewing nonsense out and screaming in all caps, really shows the true Janet IMO. And, for all who think she is "Slower" or whatever the case may be, read the thread that Barb posted. That is not someone who isn't all there. When it comes to contests she is on her game and knows how to manipulate the system. I don't think that people need to worry about her mentally.

OK, I have one question though...
If she attempted to sue LIF or actually went through with it, why is she still on here? Conflict of interest, no?
My God it adds to my list of big LIFSCREWS.
On a side note, I dont think that people should stop caring, helping, donating whatever it may be. If thats LIF's option thats fine. I am always up for helping someone. Dont let one bad situation turn the whole LIF community upside down. So not worth it.

OK, I have one question though...
If she attempted to sue LIF or actually went through with it, why is she still on here? Conflict of interest, no?
My God it adds to my list of big LIFSCREWS.
That is the million dollar question! Perhaps they have their reasons for just letting her stick around that we will never know.

Obviously Ron, Liz and folks also feel pissed at her as well. They let the "bash Janet thread live for 16 hours as well as this one too". Long enough for people to read but they didn't leave it up permamently as to look badly.
Revenge is a ***** I would say
I REALLY hope that they are not immature enough to allow all of this fighting to continue because they have a vendetta against a poster. Why is she even still here if she has screwed them over? Why isn't she banned? This thread has been up over 24 hours. I really hope that TPTB aren't as petty as you made them seem and there is a good reason why they haven't put an end to this nonsense and banned a poster who trolls and causes trouble each time she posts.

This is the first time I have posted on this board in 5 years. Last time was to thank everyone who sent wishes to me when my father was sick. WHAT are you talking about?
And I posted like an hour ago, give them time. I will be banned.
