I'm sorry if many people are not quick to jump on the bandwagon that NYPD was justified....
There have been many cases in recent memory where NYPD was involved, where we've known the FULL STORY of them shooting DEAD unharmed black men....
Amadou Diallo....his crime...trying to prove his identity.
Another African immigrant, can't remember his name, unharmed shot twice in the back...
The Haiti immigrant sodomized. These are the very few that come to my memory, I'm sure there are many more. wow....you are totally generalizing the entire association based on these bad apple examples before.
it's the mentality like that is why ppl automatically hate against the cops...and make their job even more dangerous.
my FH goes out to a domestic violence call and is trying to help the woman who called, who has been beaten, and is gonna arrest the 'baby's daddy' of hers that did it. scumbags, from the top of the building at the projects that he was at the call for, were throwing glass bottles and bowling balls at him and his partner, just cause it's fun and all cops are the same. (it's called "Air Mail")
your generalization and ppl who think like u are the ones that make my FH's job 100X more dangerous than it has to be. that just makes me sick.

There are 37,038 cops in the NYPD. I don't think that it is fair to make a blanket statement like that.

It's people like you that generalize every group, not just cops, that make me sick.
You should start looking at people as individuals, you'll see a little more clearly.

Here's an example from....my 23 yr old brother who is a very upstanding citizen got himself a BMW as a birthday present in October. Twice he's been pulled over since Oct. 30th and for no apparent reasons and made to prove his ownership without going into details. My parents are scared shitless every time he leaves the house because he might be misjudged based on the color of his skin. His never had a record, never been in trouble...he's as clean as clean can get but he's done something most white men in this country can do without thinking twice about and my parents couldn't even really be happy when he came home with the car because all they could think off then was he might be misjudged and so far, they've been proven right.
We all have our stories. All based on our experiences.
Not saying every NYPD member is out there to get the black man but the facts are there that definitely a good number think most black men are up to no good and you just get tired of having to justify that all the time.

I don't care the race of the cop, as long as you punish someone for doing something they didn't do then it's not justified. All my examples were of innocent men. I would be crazy to say criminals should not be punished, which I never said.

First I would love to know what your definition of a "good number" is.
Second - yes - that is a generalization i made - people that have records and were at a strip club at 4 am and drove there car into a person and another car and are talking about guns - are probably up to no good.

And I am the sister of a Police Officer who puts his life on the line EVERY FREAKING DAY- yet is judged b/c he wears a uniform. He would save ANY life, regardless of color, but he is mistreated simply because he is a Cop. Discrimination is discrimination and it comes in ALL forms...
Especially when my brother is having CAR batteries thrown at his head from the top of a building!

Don't even bother arguing with her....obviously an ignorant jacka$$ just like the rest of the savages I arrest on a weekly basis. Unfortunately, there are too many of them in the city and ALL of them think alike!
Oh, and BTW, oh ignorant one....Jamaica is 65% black and hispanic....how exactly is it "profiling" when the majority of people are "in the minority?" "profiling" in THAT area would be pulling over the little old white guy in the pick-up truck.....HE'S the one out of place.....not a car full of savages, oops...I mean black men with long criminal histories who just got finished fighting, cried wolf about a gun, oh and HIT AN NYPD OFFICER!!!! But, the officers who shot were "profiling?"

I am biased too. I was robbed once, and mugged once again, by a black man. So, if you want to base your feelings about the cops on what the white cops do, then dont fault others for their generalizations either.

His never had a record, never been in trouble...he's as clean as clean can get but he's done something most white men in this country can do without thinking twice about and my parents couldn't even really be happy when he came home with the car because all they could think off then was he might be misjudged and so far, they've been proven right.
We all have our stories. All based on our experiences.
Not saying every NYPD member is out there to get the black man but the facts are there that definitely a good number think most black men are up to no good and you just get tired of having to justify that all the time.

Don't even bother arguing with her....obviously an ignorant jacka$$ just like the rest of the savages I arrest on a weekly basis. Unfortunately, there are too many of them in the city and ALL of them think alike!
Oh, and BTW, oh ignorant one....Jamaica is 65% black and hispanic....how exactly is it "profiling" when the majority of people are "in the minority?" "profiling" in THAT area would be pulling over the little old white guy in the pick-up truck.....HE'S the one out of place.....not a car full of savages, oops...I mean black men with long criminal histories who just got finished fighting, cried wolf about a gun, oh and HIT AN NYPD OFFICER!!!! But, the officers who shot were "profiling?"
