No. Because my children would love to have any of their grandparents come to their school, especially for their birthday.

My grandmothers were always at my house on my b-day.
Poor Josh, my MIL forgot his b-day.
I would not be bothered. As long as she was just coming by to see him blow out candles and sing.

No that wouldnt bother me. I would've invited MIL to come see DD on actual birthday even if she just saw her.
