Re: missing malaysia airplane....
There is a lot of stuff not being reported. Sadly, I think we will never know all the details. I don't understand how a plane en route to CHINA is found (with no evidence yet) in the South Indian Ocean off the coast of western Australia. That's not the way to China!

They are making an assumption on some new radar. Where was this radar two weeks ago??

Re: missing malaysia airplane....
I find it very suspicious and confusing that for two weeks they are saying they aren't really sure of anything, and now all of a sudden they come to a conclusion that the plane crashed, all are dead, end of story. But they have yet to find a single confirmed piece of the wreckage. WTH?
And to break the news to the families via TEXT?? How heartless!

Re: missing malaysia airplane....
My heart breaks so badly for all the families going through this emotional rollercoaster, and then to be told via text? And with no evidence to then be asked to lose all hope? So heartbreaking

Re: missing malaysia airplane....
I agree...completely callous way of letting the families know. The "pings" were going off in this area but I do think they need to have more evidence before announcing that this is the plane and all souls are lost. What a tragedy

missing malaysia airplane....
Why would the pilots take the time to wipe their home computers clean, turn off all transponder boxes, etc on the plane just to crash it in the ocean? Not one terrorist group has claimed responsibility (yet) and wouldn't they by now if indeed the plane was on some sort of suicide mission?
I call huge bull shit on this, and I still think that plane is sitting in a hanger in Pakistan being made over for their own use.

they are starting to firmly believe it was a major electrical issue (depressurization, smoke, fire, loss of power) which caused all the issues - leaning away from terror.

Re: missing malaysia airplane....
It makes no sense. After 2 weeks, the are now confirming the plane crashed.......but with no evidence. So they can tell the plane crashed how?????? No, something is definately not right. Those poor families, what they are going through.

Exactly. How is it that they have a way of tracking the flight path using the pings, but they finally just used it now? If they can do that, why didnt they do it in the first place?

This is the first time they've ever done this to reconstruct a flight. They used pings plus flight paths of other Malaysia airline flights to map the probable path.

Say this was true and it was fire, why was the plane off route far from china? Makes no sense.

Re: missing malaysia airplane....
Honestly I don't know what to think. I would like to believe it was a freak fire so the families get some closure, but the realist in me is thinking that's just a story created to give some closure to the families. Then you have the group who feels that since no one claimed responsibility for this like the terrorists usually do, it must have just been an accident.......

I think there were flights deleted from his flight simulator because his hard drive was filling up. Haven't all of us deleted photos or videos from our phones or cameras? We're not guilty of anything other than making space for more stuff. I think they are making too much of a big deal about the deleted flight simulations (among other things...)
