Re: missing malaysia airplane....
Taken from another board (excuse the language):
This is playing out like a comedy!
Malaysia - ::walks up to the mic:: "Good evening everyone. Our plane is missing. In other recent news, a big tsunami hit Asia, 9/11 happened, and the Titanic sank."
Indonesia - "Stay out of our ******* airspace."
Thailand - "Oh yeah, we saw that plane somewhere at some point in time."
Myanmar - "Check our waters because we don't feel like searching, but stay the **** away from our isolated land that people have only heard of because of Bono."
Singapore - "Hey, stop talking about this missing plane shadowing ours en route to Spain."
Australia - "Goddammit, WTF is wrong with our Asia-Pacific neighbors? Guess we're involved."
Kazakhstan - "Why the **** are people mentioning us?"
Turkmenistan - "Ditto Kazakhstan."
Kyrgyzstan - "Ditto Kazakhstan."
China - "We know exactly what happened but we demand that Malaysia figure it out."
India - "Don't ask us to care about anything going on outside of our border with Pakistan."
United States - "You stupid **********, we have to get involved in EVERYTHING."
Iran - "We're not all terrorists, assholes."
Russia - ::annexes Crimea while no one's looking::
North Korea - "This will be a good time to nuke the sh*t out of South Korea or Japan without anyone knowing, right?"

Re: missing malaysia airplane....
It is playing out like a comedy when really it is a tragedy. I feel for those families I would be going crazy if one of my loved ones was on board. Those families really deserve more. It looks like no one knows what they are talking about. The media sits around and speculates to fill airtime. It's awful I hope they find this plane soon to give those families some closure!

I agree.
I actually stopped reading/listening to the news regarding this because all it is is speculation. Everyone has a theory. Yet we're not anywhere closer to finding this plane than we were 10 days ago.
Some of the things being mentioned are crazy. Anyone can get on the news and say they "saw" something. I don't even think the news is confirming anything. It just came from a "source". I think some people watched way too many movies. This is not a movie. Or a TV show. These are real people with families watching all this nonsense.
I can't even imagine having to deal with all this. Many the families get some real answers soon.

Re: missing malaysia airplane....
They are reporting that the plane had already turned off course and was flying for twelve minutes before the final communication from the pilot....in which there was no indication anything was wrong. That discounts the theory that they were in some sort of trouble and had to change course quickly.
I think that it has become pretty clear that one of the pilots had intentions to take this plane off course from the beginning.

Re: missing malaysia airplane....
This is a terrible tragedy and unimaginable agony for the families and friends I've been following the Facebook group for Philip Wood and it puts a face to the bizarre painful mystery. I'm having a difficult time seeing the Gilligan's island and fantasy island posts yet I know they all over.
I sense that we will never get the crux of the truth no matter what is released and I am not a conspiracy theorist

www.pprune.org
This is the professional pilots network. There is a massive thread on the missing flight that disputes and analyzes just about every theory. It can be difficult to follow because its not in Lay man terms but still full of information and news that was on this site before anywhere else

I'm sorry. It was not my intent to post the above as a joke. I hope you didn't take it that way. I agree and I feel awful for the families. At the same time, I'm annoyed with the investigation going on. There has to be more info, but I suspect a lot of countries will not give up info, so that their intelligence or spy info is not given up.

Re: missing malaysia airplane....
I was reading a bunch of stuff yesterday from pilots who feel that it was a quick smoke condition that took over everything so fast and they feel the plane is lost at sea somewhere. At this point who knows. It's becoming a joke because that's often how people make light of a bad situation, especially if it doesn't effect them in the grand scheme of things. If there's one guarantee in this story, it's drama!

There is deleted info from the pilot's flight simulator from home. That sounds more like he had something to do with it.

I agree. I saw a picture posted on FB today of Gilligan and friends with a Malaysia airline in the background. Don't people think before they repost crap like that? Beyond insensitive.

I am not sure of the timeline. Was it before or after the plane disappeared? If after then did his family do it or is he alive somewhere?

Australia may have found some debris from the plane. hoping the images are that of the plane at least the family can start the grieving process. I keep thinking about the families of the passengers and it's so heart breaking and I just can't imagine what they are going through. I really hope they get some answers fast.

I heard 1010 Wins say something this morning about it not being the plane. I think they should really stop reporting all this speculation until they have some confirmation. For the families sake

What a coincidence, and right after Obama said finding this plane is the #1 top priority for the US....
I'm fairly certain the gov't either knows exactly what happened and isn't saying anything at all.

Re: missing malaysia airplane....
Just released statement from Malaysia:
Malaysia: Flight 'Ended in Indian Ocean,' All Lives Lost
Flight MH370 crashed in the southern Indian Ocean leaving no survivors, Prime Minister Najib Razak said today, citing new analysis of satellite data that pegged the plane's last known position was in a "remote location" west of Perth "far from any possible landing sites." Continued Razak, as per CNN and other breaking reports, "it is therefore with deep sadness and regret that I must inform you that, according to this new data, Flight MH370 ended in the southern Indian Ocean."
Relatives of those aboard the plane got the following text just before Razak spoke, according to the BBC and this Sky News screenshot:
• "We deeply regret that we have to assume beyond any reasonable doubt that MH370 has been lost and that none of those on board survived. As you will hear in the next hour from Malaysia's Prime Minister, we must now accept all evidence suggests the plane went down in the Southern Indian Ocean."

What a wonderful way to let the families know... couldn't they schedule a live meeting with the families at the same time the prime minister released the information. Just awful

I wouldn't trust them, as a family member until I saw the evidence, as horrible as that sounds. I would want to see a picture of the plane parts in the water as they have been giving them the run around for too long.
