okay - i bought it last night and read the info that comes in the starter kit on my metro ride in this morning. i think the diet seems really healthy and varied. i am going to wait to start until sunday bc i have a bachelorette party and bridal shower to go to saturday and i don't think it's the best time to be starting. So, sunday it is! I'll keep everybody posted.

Also - fyi - the GNC near me (I live in DC) has Alli on sale right now for anyone who is interested in either starting or buying more.

This week I lost 6 pounds. That gives me a 3 week total of 19 pounds lost.

This week I skipped pills for 2 days, as I had my MIL's Bday BBQ and I was unsure about my food options. This week I'll get AF, so I'm not sure if it is showing in this week's weighin, or next (or at all).

Re: Official Alli Thread

i am going to read up on this tonight, but are there any approved snacks? can i eat veggies in the afternoon? i found everything pretty satisfying, but got hungry about 3. this is my typical "problem time" when i am most tempted to eat chips or something else out of the vending machine. i think i need to plan for a snack that the diet would be okay with - and bring it with me for this time of day. thanks!

Day One almost done! Woo hoo!

Snacks are OK, if they are fat free and fit within your calorie limit for the day. They of course recommend fruits and veggies. I'll eat a fat free string cheese, or fat free pudding, or pretzels occasionally. They aren't totally fat free, but they're close enough for me.

3pm is a hard time of day for me also. i usually have a 100 calorie snack pack. they seem to satisfy me until i get home

I lost 3 pounds this week (I had AF this week, I'm hoping thats why I'm off of my 6 pounds a week streak..)

So for my 4 week total I'm down 22 pounds.

Good Luck! Please note that they recommend following the low fat diet for a couple of days without taking the pill - that way if any fat is still being processed in your body the pills won't affect it and you won't get the dreaded 'treatment effects'.

Re: Official Alli Thread

WOW first of all congrats to all your ladies that already lost so much on the pill and dieting!!! That is absolutely wonderful!!!!!!! Chat Icon

I bought the pills yesterday after reading about it on this site. I was off the site for a few months now and I just went back on yesterday and I saw all the talk about Alli. So I decided to try it. Today is my first day and I hope I am as successful as the rest of you. DH & I are going to Greece in 5 1/2 weeks and I want to drop about 20lbs for it. I know I set my gial high but I will try for it. I will be happy with 5lbs less, as long as I lose some weight for it.

Good Luck ladies and this is a great thread.

Re: Official Alli Thread

Thank You!

Yesterday was so hard with the diet because I am used to eating crazy hours and all different kinds of food. I work 2 jobs (8-4 and 5-10) so I usually eat after work at around 11pm. Also my 2nd job is at a catering hall so I usually eat there as well. I had VERY bad eating habits and as long as I just break them I will be ok and lose weight. But like I said, yesterday was my first day and it was so difficult. But today I am much better.

I am so happy that this pill has been successful with you ladies. Let's keep this thread going.
