Has anyone bought a bathing suit yet? I'm dreading even thinking about this but I know I will need one. I'm trying to figure out how one little suit will hold the belly and boobs of a very pregnant woman come summer! Any suggestions?
i had a bikini from VS that was always too big on me and fits nicely now. also, i bought a bikini at target in size XL. it fits me now (i have my DD in swim classes) and i plan to just wear that.
I suggest Tommy Bahama brand. They have comfortable but underwire bikini tops, so it is flattering. It gives enough support and coverage but it still cute and it comes in all cup sizes. They also have fuller bottoms so my larger pregnant @$$ doesn't hang out of it. I just get mine in a larger size.

anyone start with braxton hicks? i've been having them for a few weeks now and they're quite strong. mostly it happens at least a few times a day, especially if i've had a busy day.

YESSSSS!! Thank God its not just me. Theyre not painful and i have a checkup this week so i will ask dr about it then. I have a feeling jts from not drinking enough water.

Ditto. But im not worried. This is my 2nd so i dont need much. Ill buy clothes, blankets, etc a little bit every wkend so i dont feel overwhelmed. We will get room painted and ready in june probably. Im not in a rush for crib either cause she will be in bassinet first anyway.

i know, it's so different the second time around! 15 weeks to go and it's so close but yet so far!! i don't even care about clothes because i know baby will be in white button onesies for the first few weeks and i have gender neutral pants (i'm team green). so much more relaxed this time around!

went for my monthly yesterday. really 5 weeks since i was last there. when it came time for the nurse to check her heartrate i dont think she liked her moving that doppler all around my tummy because in two seconds she kicked that thing super hard.lol shes was at 147bpm. my blood pressure was great too!
the doc was very happy with all the results from my level 2 sono. she is measuring right were she should be. i had to ask him about my weight because in 5weeks i gained 3lbs and since getting my bfp im up 5lbs total. i went over how im eating and drinking and he seemed very happy with it. he did remind me that im not eating for two. if hes ok with so am i.
next is the glucose test at week 26 and back to see him at week 27

You are probably losing weight in other areas of your body. As long as the baby is healthy, it's okay!

I feel just like you. So much more relaxed this time around and we're still Team Everything will get done little by little since I'm getting everything on my own. We're planning to have the baby's room painted have most of the furniture ready by the end of May. Everything else will trickle in

the beginin of last year i was doin so good with working out and watching what i ate. the we started hitting bumps with ttc and i started feeling sorry for myself and stopped working out and ate and drank more. so i packed on a little over 15lbs in 3-4 months.
the second i got that bfp i went right to eating good and taking care of myself.
dont feel bad. im 5'0 and started this pregnancy at 147  shame on me. but i feel great and im happy with how i look. just gotta keep doing what im doing for me and my

Had glucose test yesterday and passed!! Woohoooo!
I cant believe im already at this point. Next checkup in 4wks. When do we start going every 2wks instead of every month?

Hi everyone...
I have my glucose test at around 28 weeks - end of May. Fingers crossed I pass. I did with DD so I'm not too worried this time.
I have done NOTHING to prepare for this baby but am much more chill being it's the 2nd time around for me. I just need to clean out my guest room and wash some clothes I already have and buy new nipples for the bottles.
Other than that I don't have much else to do.
Feeling ok - just feeling so much pressure down THERE already. Can't stand on my feet for too long a period. End of the day I'm exhausted and feeling uncomfortable.
Hope you're all doing well!

I find that what I wear totally changes the look of my bump. In some clothes, I barely look pregnant and in some outfits I look HUGE! and some look just right 
I was trying on maternity clothes at target and had a meltdown though. I hate trying on clothes to begin with but now it's even harder!! where did you get all of those cute tops?

I HATED SHOPPING FOR CLOTHES BEFORE GETTING MY BFP!!!
I rather shopr for a tablet of new cell
But I promised dh I would dress and look and during this pregnancy. week 7-13 dont count. ms was a b itch.lol
Plus it doesnt help when I ask dh if my bump looks any bigger he says "not really"
But when he sees my boobs he has no problem telling me how big they've gotten
I got all those tops on ebay

I def. didn't think the baby needed a hat, but this is my first and I guess I am clueless. Lots of people say they still need a hat. And I guess if you are blasting the air conditioning in the car, it won't be hot like it is outside. I say, bring it and then decide. You can always take it off but if you don't plan on having one, you won't have the option of putting it on.

I would definitely getting those fitted, thin cotton hats. Remember, this is a tiny baby that needs to feel warm (not hot) and cozy. Yes, its August, but most cars and homes have ACs on. My son was born in late September while it was still 80+ degrees out and when in AC'd spaces or at night, I would swaddle him with a short sleeve onesie underneath and he always slept with a thin cotton hat on.

I haven't thought about a coming home outfit but will get something with a light hat. My last baby was born in the dead of winter so it will be nice to not have to bundle this one up to take home! How's everyone doing? I can't believe we're getting into the last trimester!
