Posted by BaysideForever We still don't have a name chosen. Am I the only one or is there another August Mommy who is still undecided on a name???
Nope. 10 weeks away and no name. Not even close to choosing one.
We haven't decided a name either. I like one name but DH wants the baby named after him, so not sure what we are going to do.

I can't imagine having to come up with 4! We can't agree on 2. I'm scared this baby will be named Jane/John Doe!

Seriously! I would have asked if we needed to come up with 1 & 1 or 2 of each. I wouldn't be able to be team green with twins, I bow down!!

Hi! I'm due 8/11 and I start going every 2 weeks June 18th and then every week July 16th.

Hi August Club!
I don't post frequently, but am frequently logging on.
I never really paid attention to this thread before, so glad that I decided to check it out! I haven't done too much yet either. I have my shower next weekend (whoo hoo!) so I am waiting to see what I get before I start really shopping for baby. I will admit that I stalk my registry a few times a day
Anybody crib shopping? My husband and I have been to Behr's in Seaford a couple of times now and I think we have it narrowed down.

Re: .:: Official AUGUST 2012 Mommy to be Thread! ::.
Just went to my monthly appt today... does anyone else wait FOREVER in your OB's office? I have been trying to go during lunch breaks at work (since the OB's office is 10 min away) but today I was there for an hour and a half, and that was after I pushed to get seen because I was on a lunch hour... luckily my boss is cool about it (so far) but I'm gonna have to see if I can get there after work if they have late hours, especially since I have to start going more frequently (next appt is 3 weeks)....
Anyway baby seems fine, didn't get to see him but heard his HB. I feel like for each week of pregnancy I am up a pound.. I am going to have A LOT of work to do once this baby comes!
How's everyone else doing?

This is the reason why I go after work. I went a few times what they said was the first appointment and I still ended up being seen 35-40mins late.
Now I go at 630pm and wait up 20mins. I think the problem is they book appointments for every 15mins. Which I will never understand why they do that.
Glad he had a great HB. I dont think a pound a week is bad. I'm going later tonight and I have my money on me being up 7-8 from last month. We shall see.
Does your doc measure you? Mine just takes my urine checks my hr the baby hb and ask questions. Did they say they will be doing anything different at your next appointment since you will be in your 3rd tri?

My waiting time is not awful, but I also go around 430 (I skip out of work early) and have my kindle (anyone else reading 50 Shades of Grey?)
I started to get measured at 24 weeks.

Yeah I was measured w/ the measuring tape thing... today was standard weight, urine, BP, then HB (they either do HB or sono, this time was HB). and they didn't mention anything different for next appt except that its in 3 weeks instead of 4... good luck later tonight!

I am always taken right on time, but I usually have the first appointment in the mornings. My next appointment is at 29 weeks and she said it is the standard urine, heartbeat, weight and blood pressure and measuring the tummy appointment. I presume after that she will start having me come more often.
