Passed my glucose test- wohooooo!! so happy because i failed with DS and had to do the 3 hr- which suxs!
Babies lose 80% of their body heat through their heads, so they will def need a hat. They can't regulate their body temperature for weeks so DS had a hat on always in the beginning.

I passed also! But need to take an additional iron pill for anemia. Otherwise doing fine over here! How's everyone else?

have my 1 hour test tomorrow morning and a regular appointment i believe. I miss seeing DD... lol... and I have a list of questions to ask the doctor that is a mile long. I hope she doesn't get annoyed.

Anyone finding themselves extremely tired? I pass out in bed by 9pm, wake up at 5:30am and I feel exhausted to the point where I have to drag myself out of bed!

I was like this during the first trimester. My energy came back and I'm able to stay up later. There are some days I wake up early to pee then can't fall back asleep. It's so annoying!!!

I find myself a little tired but it doesnt help that i pee 2-3 times in the middle of the night plus the friggin birds chirpin so damn early also doesnt help

I failed my 3 hour.. and have GD... im so sad.. I feel like i failed my DS already.. 
Have to meet with a dietician now-but its only for about 11 weeks.. then ill get to hold DS and forget all about it!

tomorrow is my 2hour GTT test. They also have checked off CBC w/diff platelet ct. , vit d, mercury, and hemoglobin aic.
anyone else get tested for this?
i hope i pass. if not the diet for GD isn't so bad

Oh I'm sorry Don't blame yourself- there is nothing you could do to prevent it.

The CBC with diff I believe can check for anemia, which I popped up as low for.... The hemoglobin a1c is checking the glucose levels.
My dr threw in HIV... Lol I was like why at 28 weeks?? Lol

Well I decided to call the dr. office today to see about my glucose results... thank goodness I passed! My next OB appt is on Wednesday (i'll be in my 27th week)..... when do you stop going monthly and go more frequently to the OB, anyone know?

I just realized that it's getting so close, 78 days for me (give or take) and I have done NOTHING. I just made a list of things to do off the top of my head and it's long. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH  second baby is getting the shaft already!

don't feel bad, my house is seriously a mess! We are renovating our basement so everything is everywhere. We have to fix up the baby's room (plaster and paint, since an AC tech broke a wall going into our attic!) and we can't move the stuff that is currently in the baby's room until the basement is finished. As a result, all of the baby's furniture is sitting in our dining/living room. I can't wait to clean after its all over! (i am hoping by july!)

I'm still working on our home improvement projects as well.
We just got everything painted and of course the second the painters left the house, DH messed up the wall pretty bad. So we tried to patch it up and it didn't work well, so I have to figure out what I can put over it so I don't have to look at it and be annoyed every day LOL.
Next, I have to schedule an appointment for the carpet cleaners to come and then once that is done, we can start moving furniture around and setting up baby furniture.
It is a lot of work and I just pray it will all get done before the baby comes.
Besides the home stuff, we are pretty far ahead on everything else. All of our classes are scheduled and the hospital tour is scheduled.
Looking forward to the shower so that afterwards I can go shopping and start setting up the house/nursery.
We still don't have a name chosen. Am I the only one or is there another August Mommy who is still undecided on a name???

We haven't started the baby's room yet. Some of it will start this weekend when we move the futon out and bring it to my parent's shore house. The following weekend we are installing the ceiling fan and moving the tv and computer to the other room. We still have to pick a paint color and I hope to do that before then end of June.
