What an adorable idea for halloween! Such a great outfit!

I have a onesie from Old Navy that I got last spring that's a nb size that has a picture of snoopy on it with a pumpkin that says "don't scare me - I poop easily!" that I think will be his halloween costume.

Hey everyone!

I was gone for about a week spending time with family from out of the country but am back now. Can't believe how much i missed!

InShock - that's an adorable little costume! You can probably still have wear it after Halloween so it sounds like a good investment to me

DH and I are still trying to come up with names so that's "fun". We have a sono scheduled for next week - DH seems to think that once we see LO's face, we'll have an easier time naming him. I don't think that'll be the case but whatever - i'm obviously really excited to see again!

I've been having more and more BH Contractions - they don't hurt, but they're definitely getting annoying. I'm starting to get worried that I'll have this baby early. I'm not at all ready for this!

My cousin freaked me out a bit saying that she had her hospital bag packed since she was 25 weeks preggo ... so now I feel really behind in the game. Maybe that'll be my weekend project ... or maybe not, we'll see

InShock, what a cute 'costume'. Sandra, the Snoopy outfit sounds adorable. I bought the baby a pumpkin onesie and a turkey one for Thanksgiving. I am itching to buy some Christmas ones already too, so I totally share your excitement!

I can't believe we are almost there! MrsRapz, I know what you mean! DH freaked me out the other day bc his friend told him his wife delivered both of their kids at 37 weeks. Then I remembered so did my sister! That is only 2 weeks away! But if we go a little late like a lot of other moms I know, we're still talking 6 weeks. I am back and forth between OMG I have to get all this stuff ready ASAP and, oh we have plenty of time to do that, it's kinda early to worry about that yet, lol.

went to walmart this week. ds picked out a halloween shirt for #2.... its black with a cat face, and the sleeves are white and black striped

hi ladies!! Just wanted to say I'm loving reading all of your updates and that you're almost in the home stretch! (still living vicariously through you all!).

MaryB- I'm so happy the girls are doing okay, please keep posting updates!!

Dragonmom- where are you located? I noticed you said you worked on a farm? I'm sure that's definitely helping you keep fit! Congrats and welcome!

As for me, I am doing SO much better than even a month ago- I guess finding out all the problems w/ me gives me a new focus. Trying to get all these things addressed before we can even contemplate TTC again! I had a reaction to taking the natural form of folate (high doses), it basically triggered lupus. I'm going to see a lupus specialist on 9/13 (she specializes in lupus in pregnancy!), so I have that to deal with plus the gene mutation, plus blood clotting issues.....I also made an appt with Dr. Klein for later this month, figured I might as well make the jump to a high risk practice as a preconception check up! On a positive note- I met with a nutritionalist, she did bloodwork on me, and some other tests- I now know which foods are causing autoimmune flare ups and what to avoid. After just 1 week avoiding gluten, dairy and eggs I am 3 pounds lighter! Long story short, I'm taking as many steps as possible to ensure I am at my healthiest for our next pregnancy, having a goal in mind is giving me something to strive for and feel good about. I know these are all things that I am finding out all because of Grace, so she is looking out for her mommy from above. Just figured I'd drop a line and try to update you all on me as briefly as possible lol Can't wait for October and to see all of your baby pics!!! So exciting!!!!

I am in NE Michigan.. I have 3 horses, 4 dogs , 2 bunnies, couple cats, on just under 5 acres property.... bought this house year ago, was fixer upper and been doing 90% the work myself, painting, flooring, fencing... etc...
I also have outdoor woodburner that will have to start up in a month or so, got to get Robert helping me on that some..

Lots to do, and with one horse deciding to be excape artist most this month (not fun chasing horse down the road somewhere and walking her home 8 months pregnant) have had her locked in the round pen or barn for the last week til i get better fence wire up this weekend... and let her in with the other 2 that are good girls and dont get out-lol

Keeps me very busy... I did gain 4 lbs this last week appointment.... but still measuring 33 wks ...but ultrasound has baby at 35 w 4 days and 5 lb 12 oz on the 27th... sooo she is growing good...and on schedule no mattr what my weight is doing...but I can tell that Ive lost alot weight other places that I couldnt lose before i was pregnant, so its eveing out basically -i lose it somewhere and she is gaining about same rate so its even...
I sure dont look like im due in a month--lol

DUH I forgot to include the most exciting part of my update!! I got my first postpartum AF 2 weeks ago!!! it was exactly 8 weeks after our loss (can you believe that much time has passed?!, I know I can't!). And I know that I o'd around CD13 (good 'ol EWCM was there to let me know )which means for once in my life I'm actually having a 28 day cycle hopefully it continues like that and doesn't go back to the usual 38 days+! I think these little things are all helping me feel "back to normal" so thank god for AF! (for once!)

The reflux has started.

I feel like my throat/lungs are being burned through with a hot iron.

Appointment this morning at 10:45 for an u/s to make sure the baby isn't breech anymore (crossing my fingers!!!) and then seeing the midwife for my 34 w appointment. Need to ask about the flu shot and pertussis vaccine today, and if there's any way to stop my insides from burning up. Why is everything so so so much worse the 2nd pregnancy??? sigh

Im right there with ya!! This one is taking soooo long!!! 2nd one doesn't fly by at all!!!
Heartburn just started for me too!! HORRIBLE!!1 I just want to be done!!! i'll be 34 weeks friday!

HELEN - amazing news for you and you sound like youre doing great. My friends went to Dr. Klein and loved him. They were high risk w twins and he was great w them. A friend of mine is w him now. If you tell your story and "demand" to see him, I think he will take such great care of you.

Update about my ladies: They are doing well. They both moved up to the intermediate NICU and are in bassinets. I see them 2x a day and have started nursing them! They are 2 weeks old today (34 weeks) They are also able to wear clothes, which looks ridiculous bc the newborn is falling off them, so the preemie stuff is in the dryer now!!

Keep all the updates coming and hope you all feel well as you enter the final weeks!!!!
