Hi all! 35 weeks+1 today. I cant wait to be doneeee, anyone else? I dont feel bad at all just very tired and I want to meet my little girl!

36 weeks tomorrow and my hospital bag isnt packed either. I did buy myself a pair of new pjs and the travel size shampoo/conditioner/toothpster and travel tooth brush. But thst about it. And I just bought them yesterday.

Helen, so nice to hear from you and so glad that you are doing well.

MaryB, so happy to hear your girls are getting stronger!

Just got back from my growth sono- baby is in the 47th percentile and just shy of 6 lbs. at 35 weeks. Completely average sized, so apparently I am the one who is big, not baby, lol! Also had the Group B Strep test done. It was slightly uncomfortable, but not too bad. Weekly visits start now, we are in the home stretch!

Lots of little things need to get done now, like packing the hospital bag, installing the carseat, and stocking up on last minute things for the baby and postpartum supplies for me. I am with you girls who are feeling overwhelmed at this point! I'm just trying to accomplish at least 1 task a day.

Hope everyone's feeling as comfortable as you can these days!

I bought some new PJs and travel size toiletries but I'm not packed at all. I think my parents from NC are packed and ready to drive up here! I'm pretty sure I had a few contractions over the weekend that were quite uncomfortable.

Speaking of uncomfortable.... My back hurts so much at work. I work 12 hour shifts over night and then sleeping during the day is terrible. I think I'm going to ask about intermittent disability so I can work 2 shifts instead of 3.

Nursery is not complete, bassinet is not set up and the car seat is not installed... I'm just so tired and often uncomfrtable or in pain. Can't wait for nesting!

And the thought of labor is starting to become real to me. Maybe it's the sciatic pain and realizing it's only going to get worse!!! lol

I hope everyone else is doing well as least.

So excited only 38 more days to go! Can't wait to meet my baby girl :) I'm feeling pretty good, somedays I'm so incredibly uncomfortable though. I'm trying to get everything done by 36 weeks pregnant so I can relax my last month... I guess I have lots to do in a week and a half...haha

I deconstructed my diaper cake tonight and I now know I have over 100 size 1 diapers. I have to go out and buy a box of nbs and a box of size 1s (I think Target has a gc deal going on so I might hit them up soon for it.)

Today's u/s went great!!!! Baby is measuring right on target, and I'm SUPER excited to report that he is still NOT BREECH!!!! Last time, his feet were by his head, but his head was down. Now his feet are up and his head is down and he's in perfect birthing position. He's also measuring 5 lbs 6 oz and 45th percentile overall. So perfect!!! I never had a late or growth sono with DD so I don't have much to compare it to, but I weighed less than that when I was born so I feel great about how well he's doing! I'm 34+3 today! My brother was born right around now and I was born at 35 1/2 weeks so we're getting close... DD was 1 day early though so I'm no longer convinced I'm going to go super early like I thought my first pregnancy.

I got some zantac 75 today (so I can take it 2x a day if needed) and already feel a bit better. DH suffers from very bad acid reflux (he's on a prescription medication for it because he was having some long-term ramifications from the reflux) and said that milk is actually acidic and could make it worse. But I've been craving yogurt and cottage cheese lately so I'm going to try having that as a snack tonight.

We have our refresher hospital tour on Saturday and I'm excited to see if anything has changed. I heard you no longer go through the women's pavillion entrance but instead go through the ER if you come in after 9 pm (last pregnancy I got to the hospital at 9:30 pm and DD was born just a little after midnight).

I'm going to try to find somewhere that has both the pertussis vaccine and the flu shot and get both of them in the next week or two. My OB doesn't have either and my hospital doesn't offer the pertussis vax but I want it before DS is born so he gets some protection.

Found nipple soother pads today on CLEARANCE for $4 (they're usually $12 - 15 for the same package!) at my local grocery store and bought two packs of those today! I'll probably stash them in the fridge soon so they're ready to go when I get home from the hospital. Crossing my fingers BF works out this time, at least a little!

I plan to pack my bag soon, but I still can't find PJs I like at all. PITA. I still have to get the car seat installed. We're being slightly lax about all this stuff because we figure DH can do it while I'm at the hospital if need be (since he'll have to come home to take care of DD once DS is born, we're not planning on him staying over this time unless somehow she can too, which I think would be kinda zooish lol... we'll find out on our tour on Saturday how that all works).

Now that I know DS is in position, I'm going to start doing my yoga ball exercises to keep him engaged and help him descend a little. Don't want him too early, but I'd love if he were born 9/23 -- that's kinda my "goal" date lol. I'll be 37+1, it's two days after a CLE class I'm taking to get ahead on some credits, my mom will still be in town, and then he'll have a sapphire as his birth stone instead of an opal.

Yeah maybe I'm thinking just a wee bit too much.

We picked a name, too!

Hey girls just checking in! 34.5 weeks and the countdown has begun. I started my 2x a week NST (due to GD) last week and so far so good. Today my dr. office tested my patience, I was there 2 hours for my what was supposed to be 30 min appt ughhhhh. I cried when I left.

Also I have developed TMJ in my jaw and it is not very fun. I hope it is just because of pregnancy and not an on-going thing. Other than that doing ok - feeling claustraphobic again…my ribs and lungs and belly feel so full or tight. Also I keep my heartburn and reflux at bay with Prilosec…been on it forever now.

I need to pack my hospital bag but I feel like I need or use alot of the stuff going in there. i.e. my pjs, deodarant, brush, make-up etc!

I still need to order a nursing bra AND have yet to find a nice nursing cami. I need to wash baby clothes and sort through a bunch of stuff…probably after this weekend!

Umm what else…wondering if my dr. will do a growth sono. As of now they say no because I measure normal but I thought all GD people get one????

WAHOOO!!1 Had my 36 weeks appt today and I am 50 % effaced and 1 cm dialted. I know its prob not much, but it really made my morning!!!

DH and I have our growth sono in about an hour - DH thinks that seeing LO's face it'll help us come up with a name but i kinda doubt it. We'll find out soon, i guess

MrsRapz, I hope your LO cooperates more than mine! My baby had his/her hands in frond of his/her face during the whole sono. Good luck!

Sandra, I know what you mean about finding pjs you like. My mom was very nice to buy me a nightgown, robe, and slippers for the hospital. Totally NOT my style at all, but I guess maybe I'll suck it up for the few days I am there, she was so excited to give them to me, lol.

Got my flu shot today and my GP checked and it turns out I *did* get the pertussis vaccine back in 2009 when I got my tetanus booster shot! I'm so glad they checked!!!

I also found really beautiful PJs at a local maternity boutique -- and they were on clearance!!!! I'm happy. Successful day!

Puppy-Love ---- I got jaw pain a week ago, it went away within a few days...

my NST is still at 1x a week & dr 1 x a week - at 33 weeks..

Growth sono I was told every 3 weeks for my gd- the other weeks are just blood flow sonos
