Your beans are so cute! i tried like 10x to upload my sono pics but it wasnt working.
I saw my little gummybear yesterday. Thats what the sono tech called it the HB was strong at 174bpm and it was even moving around. I was so relieved bc this was the week i m/c last time, and a lot of my symptoms have been sibsiding. I go back in 2wks just for a prenatal visit, i'll be 11wks so hopefully they can hear its heartbeat on the doppler.
Smiles, dont worry - most places just do a sono at your 1st visit, then 12wks, 20 wks and one in 3rd tri, and prenatal visits every 4weeks until much later in your preg.

Aww, i love these sono pics. I'm a little jealous that i couldn't do one as well 
I have my next Dr visit in a week (i'll be 11 weeks along) - not sure what to expect at that one. Then a week later, i'm going for the NT scan at the hospital so i'm excited to see LO actually looking like a baby and not a blob.
I definitely have a little belly showing so that's kind of exciting. Anybody else?

on another note, i am in maternity pants today. dont see how i'll ever go back to regular pants lol i was going to buy the belly band to hold me over for the next month or so but i decided to just spend the extra $15 and get maternity pants, i just fold the panel over. figured i can wear them for the majority of my pregnancy.
I haven't taken the plunge into maternity pants yet (just the bella band when I need to wear my jeans unbuttoned!) but I think I will need to in another few weeks!! I am already getting the unsolicited commentary from my husband's family lol...his sister told me "oh you won't need maternity clothes until you're 7 months at least, I hardly wore ANY maternity clothes"....OK first off, that's YOU, and you were 24 during your first pregnancy, I'm 32 and naturally rounder than when I was 24  and I'd rather be comfortable than look like I'm stretching my pre-pregnancy clothes to their limit! Thank god I'll be pregnant over the summer b/c I plan on wearing a lot of dresses!

Mine is at Madonna in Brightwaters. It will be nice to see the baby, I am excited for that.

I am definitely looking bloated and it's starting to look like a more rounded bloat than before, I wonder how much longer I can last at work without spilling the beans!! I am aiming for Easter!! I'm not out of the 1st trimester until April 12th, torture!!

I definitely have a belly, but I am not so excited by it. I don't look pregnant, I just look like I've been pigging out and drinking like a fish. I have a feeling I am going to have to buy some maternity pants soon. My pants are all super tight, and I live in yoga pants as much as possible.

ITA - I'm definitely at that weird stage of pregnancy where my regular clothes make me look fat, but maternity clothes would make me look ridiculous. I think I need to invest in some loose / flowy tops that will hide my belly a bit better.

I'm starting w/ a new doctor, they're high risk and I *think* they do the NT screening at their office? It's at Great Neck ob/gyn. I changed my appointment from 3/29 to Monday 3/26 b/c I'm going to cancel the follow up w/ my old ob on Friday and just go straight to the new ob (since my old ob wanted to do all the first ob tests on me Friday and I figured it's just better to cancel w/ them rather than have to forward the test results to the new doc, UGH I am so complicated

DH and my families know (including extended family). We told them after our first sonogram (at 6 weeks 3 days). We haven't told our friends yet and it's definitely difficult to keep quiet. We're waiting until we're out of the 1st Trimester though (about 3 more weeks). It is definitely getting harder and harder to keep quiet.

same here but i just bought my first pair of maternity pants and folded the panel. they're so comfy! all my work pants made me look fat and uncomfortable after every meal.

We are telling our families this weekend. I'll be 12 weeks. It was hard at times to stay quiet and I felt at some points like everyone suspected it, but so far so good I think.

we told my in laws at 7 weeks and told my mom & sister at 8 weeks.....I gave my mom a grandma book and she said "but I'm not your grandma" and I said "no you're not.....but, you will be the grandma to my future children" and she said "yes that's true" so I told her "and it will be sooner than later" and she STILL didn't get it lol I had to come right out with it and say "sooner as in October 25th sooner" LOL then she finally got what I was telling her, it was too cute!! I wish I would have videotaped it, it was priceless!

I changed it today actually! So call up and take my appointment on 3/29 if you can! I was scheduled to meet with Dr. Sadaty at 4:30, so see if they still have it available. I believe they are doing all the tests (bloodwork) on me when I go on Monday since I will already be 9w4d the first time I meet with them. I actually don't know what all the first tests are, I just know I have to fill out the forms to consent to certain tests, I'm not actually sure which ones they'll do first! (I need to catch up to that chapter in "what to expect when you're expecting!", I think they cover it).

How often / what week #s do you have scheduled sonos or check-up appts w/ your OB?
Anyone getting that "new" Materni-T blood test to check for Down's?
I had sonos at my RE at 6 & 8 weeks, graduated, took a week to decide on an ob that specializes in twins...made an appt which will put me at 11 w 4 d.
Of course, that's not based on any medical reasons... The receptionist just gave me the next avail appt.
Is that too long in between appts? I'm nervous about it.
My dr is really stingy with the sonograms. We had one at 6.5 weeks to confirm the heartbeat and my next sonogram isn't until the NT scan next Monday (12 weeks). The sonogram I just had done I paid extra for at a 3d place. I felt like something was wrong and I wanted to confirm there was a heartbeat. I'll probably use them again since my dr doesn't do a sonogram again until 18 weeks for the spina bifida test.
