I changed it today actually! So call up and take my appointment on 3/29 if you can! I was scheduled to meet with Dr. Sadaty at 4:30, so see if they still have it available. I believe they are doing all the tests (bloodwork) on me when I go on Monday since I will already be 9w4d the first time I meet with them. I actually don't know what all the first tests are, I just know I have to fill out the forms to consent to certain tests, I'm not actually sure which ones they'll do first! (I need to catch up to that chapter in "what to expect when you're expecting!", I think they cover it).
Aah, so funny! I called right before I read this b/c I spoke w/RE & he said to get in sooner. I don't think they had your appt any more but they squeezed me in on 3/27 (although she said they *might* have to move it. )
Secretary wasn't sure if they did NT scan in office but then she said they did ultrascreen which I think is the same thing?
Can't wait to hear about your appt!!

Yeah, I thought NT scan and the Ultrascreen were the same as well 
Maybe the secretary was new and just didn't know (or maybe we're both wrong)

Going to the OB today at 6, hes a new dr (reavis) and i cannot wait to goo!! i hope they do a sono i got so spoiled at the RE. wish me luck!!

I can't wait two more weeks until my next appointment. I want to join you ladies in this thread!!! Please add me - EDD 10/13/12. :) :) :) (We will definitely be finding out the gender -- I'm a planner!)
I had my first sono on 2/29 and the baby measured 7 w 4 d. I went back a week and a day later and he/she was 8 w 5 d, so so far everything looks great! Strong HBs - 159 and then 188!
I'm 10 w 3 d today and have been sick for over 5 weeks now.  Last pregnancy, I didn't start getting sick until 9.5 weeks and it ended immediately at 14 weeks. I really, really hope this ends soon! I've been taking zofran most mornings because otherwise there's no way I can take care of DD while I'm throwing up. (She walks into the bathroom and pats me on the back as I vomit... it's so sweet, though it feels very wrong lol.)
I haven't been on LIF much since DD was born so if you don't know me, I'm Sandra... I'm a LI transplant to NC and my DD was born in January 2011. She will be 21 months when #2 joins us. This pregnancy was a complete shock but we are delighted (long story very short: PCOS, one period since DD, oh look, a BFP).
Looking forward to getting to know you all! Congratulations October mommies!!!
Oh, and your usual "please no fb posts" disclaimer since it's still so early... but I figured that's kinda given. :)

congrats Sandra!!! Glad you decided to come "out" on LIF! that is crazy that you have PCOS and got pregnant without trying!! My best friend has PCOS and is TTC right now, hoping she is successful soon too!!

Love my new dr and everything looks great! Im measuring 9w1d an my lil bean is starting to look like a baby now! I feel much more relieved now

Also I am feeling much better these days. I actually had chicken twice today - wow! My next sono is March 30th at 12 weeks for the Downs scan or whatever it is called.

hi girls.. so glad to read about everyone and the week going by...
i went for a 10w sono (im 10w3d) and we discovered the twins are in their own sac.. they couldnt see the line separating them at my 6w sono, but now it is more defined..
so - i can have boy/girl or boy/boy or girl/girl
a whole new twist to things.. we are going to find out the sex as well - i totally need to know and plan.
hope everyone is doing well..

How often / what week #s do you have scheduled sonos or check-up appts w/ your OB?
Anyone getting that "new" Materni-T blood test to check for Down's?
I had sonos at my RE at 6 & 8 weeks, graduated, took a week to decide on an ob that specializes in twins...made an appt which will put me at 11 w 4 d.
Of course, that's not based on any medical reasons... The receptionist just gave me the next avail appt.
Is that too long in between appts? I'm nervous about it.
I don't think that is too long. I had my first appt around 7/7.5 weeks, and my next isn't until 13 weeks.

how exciting!!! imagine if you have boy/girl? I guess you have another 8-10 weeks to find out....I can't wait to find out what you're having and I'm not even finding out what I'm having!

so I read that Reese Witherspoon is pregnant w/ her 3rd (with her new hubby!) and she's around 12 weeks so I think that makes her an October mommy to be!! I'd much rather hear about her than Snooki's pregnancy

You look great! Having trouble buttoning my pants & I'm only 9w5d I'm assuming it's bloat but it feels like a prego belly. Also feel like my rib cage is expanding!
Let us know how your scan goes. How long to get results on that?

What are the Oct moms-to-be doing this weekend?
I feel like I really need to sit down and plan and get organized but after keeping up w/regular chores, etc, I end up needing to take a nap! A long nap! In fact, it feels more like the nap is taking me
Anyone else?
I haven't been sleeping well at night either (even during week when I can't nap).

DH and I are probably going to do some major cleaning and organizing and de-cluttering of our co-op so we can put it up for sale and hopefully buy a house before LO comes. Otherwise, we're not doing anything for the baby (not even planning future things to do) until I'm out of the 1st trimester.
Off topic but I had the hardest time getting dressed for work this morning. Everything made me look pregnant and since nobody at work knows, i had to change my outfit 4 times! Even very loose tops were no good 
Of course, I am happy to have a little baby bump but I wish I could show it off! Two more weeks till I come out of the pregnancy closet

I have a lot of flowy tops so luckily I've been getting away w/ wearing those so far.....and I wouldn't be surviving without my bella band every day!! If I keep my pants buttoned I get horrible heartburn, so it's a no brainer to use the bella band and breathe easy 
I decided I'm coming out at work right after Easter, I'll hit the 2nd trimester April 12th, so any point that week I'll tell them, now I just have to decide if I blurt it out in a staff meeting or send an email to our department distribution list? (there's only 20 of us in the dept anyway). I'm just wondering if I announce it in person will I have to deal with the cringe worthy belly touching attempts??? It doesn't seem to matter how far along you are, everyone just wants to TOUCH YOU when you're pregnant UGH

I hear you, it's hard to get through cleaning and then have any energy left over for anything else!
This weekend I'm telling my half sister, she reminds me so much of my father (he passed 14 years ago), so this will be so much fun!! She is kind of like a matriarch on my dad's side though (she's a lot older than me) so I will have to anticipate her telling almost everyone on that side of the family We have a sono appt tonight as a follow up to this past Monday's appointment, it's our last one w/ my soon to be former Ob doc (and I think I will be blunt and tell them why I'm changing docs), I go to the high risk doc Monday, can't wait!!
